I've gone 'other', although maybe it should be '3rd party'. With my current Battle Beasts fixation the upcoming Rise of the Beasts line has come out of nowhere and really impressed me with the initial designs. I'm already on board as a Kickstart backer, so assuming the pledge target is reached and the line goes ahead I'm already ahead of the game with the first series.

I wanted to vote both for Transformers Prime and Movie Triology, but since i could only vote in one.
Transformers Prime toys look fantastic and awesome, but i kindda already know what we're getting this year and i am really curious and excited to see what they do with the movie toys.

The video game stuff really interests me. I liked the game enough and I'm looking forward to anything based on that game.

There's only mabye three things I want from PRID. One hasn't been released yet and the other two are playing hard to find.
I voted Fall of Cybertron/Generations. Love the classic, plain old, no-nonsense styling. The kind of Transformer where being able to change modes IS the gimmick.

All I want is deluxe DotM Soundwave, Leadfoot, and Que. Wish I had the budget to collect other lines, but I decided to focus on the movie stuff a few years back and am sticking with it.

Up until about a week ago it was going to be Transformers Prime - then I decided I wanted other things more so I cancelled my interest in the line. Now I'm most interested in seeing what's coming out in the Generations and Third Party lines.
TF Prime looks neat, but I don't have the space/budget to afford it and maintain my Classic-verse collection.

I want to see more TT Encore reissues. Sixshot is a good start but I need more, something which hasn't been reissued already would be great.

The third party products. Everything hasbro touches turns to crap, sort of the opposite of King Midas of Greek myth, with bad paint apps, disappearing toylines and shrinking figures.
Takara, though good, isn't good enough to pay $50 for a shiny Deluxe Cliffjumper.
I'm seriously thinking of going 3rd party. That Shockwave steamboat looks flakkin' awesome.
3rd party is the future of TFs for the adult fan community.

What recent decision of Hasbro can't the above picture apply to?

I voted 3rd party.
I was originially interested in Prime, but the more we learn the less I want the toys.
I was going to vote for Generations, but decided not to since the line will likely be completely Fall of Cybertron and I've decided to exclusively collect Classics related stuff.

I was going to vote for Generations, but I don't know enough about that line to get too excited for. So I voted 3rd party instead. I love me some Neo G1s.

I voted 3rd party, but I'm really looking forward to Generations as well. Figured they have the majority of the good vote.

I had come to that conclusion too, then I decided to take my WFC/FoC figs with me to camp, so now I'll be continuing to collect them.
I think I just needed an excuse to get 2 Shockwaves.

Re: Poll - Which toyline has got you on your toes in 2012?
Voted for 3rd Party, but am also quite looking forward to Generations/Fall of Cybertron, and will probably pick up a few Hasbro Prime things. Would be excited for the Takara Prime stuff but it's too expensive. With Giant, FP?, more MiniWarriors from iGear, and possibly some other stuff, I'll likely be spending a lot on 3rd party products, although I do hope to complete some gaps in my collection of older official toys too.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

I would have voted 3rd Party, but due to their prices, I can wait for them...allows me time to save up for the damn things. Generations and the 'not as good as the first game' figures get the nod.

Honestly, the Transformers Prime line is one of my favorites, if not my favorite ever. I have bought almost all of the figures, and I find myself addicted, something I can't say for any other line.

Polls like this make me wish I could vote twice. I chose Generations but would also choose the Masterpiece line.
The Generations toys are the only Transformers toys that have interested me over the last few years. I don't exactly see that changing...although a few of the PRime figures are interesting looking, so who knows.

What with Hasbro going the simplified-transformation route for their more "mainstream" lines, my only hope for collector-oriented TF's lies with the MP line.
Thing is, I might have to wade through several more MP-10 repaints before any new molds come out. Well, at least I can still look forward to potential MP-11 Skywarp and Thundercracker repaints [missed out on the V1 releases] and complete the set.
