Yes, i do. It's not cheap. I've paid for it before. It's also not, OMFG, stolen products. Hell, find a friend in the UK. They get toys decently quick and the shipping shouldnt be horrible. Stop bitchin' and find yourself a solution that doesnt involve illegal actions.

Don't know why folks are mentioning Universe or TFA toys. The letter clearly states BotCon Toys. As far as those of you who think that anybody overseas is going to get away with this. Screw international laws, this guy is from Texas. You steal from a Texan all you can do is the following three things. 1) Bend Over 2) Place Your Head Between Your Legs and 3) Kiss Your *** Goodbye!. Laws don't matter, distance doesn't mean squat and I, for one, am behind this guy 100 percent. This stuff shouldn't be seeing the light of day until opening morning of BotCon and as for the Universe, TFA and Movie toys, those of you who are dedicated collectors respectful of this all consuming hobby/lifestyle should be willing to wait and procure items through proper chanels. Those who can't should be watching your backs for guys like me who are ready to take scalpers and other such vermin out behind store dumpsters and kick the crap out of them for turning something that many of us love into a capitalist sideshow.
You folks want to see action, get me a plane ticket to China and I'll
get the BotCon Transformers back and parts of the thieves to go with them.

It is nice to see that someone is trying to do something about this maybe this is just the start and hasbro and takara/tomy will take up fight and ko's will be the next big cause. We will see some of the combiners and that have been bastertized by the ko market released as they should be in the encore series. Thank you fun publishing for taking the first step in this war.

Interesting theory, but where are you getting this from? I know some big chains like Walmart have been known to call the shots with their suppliers, but I didn't know it went so far as telling multinational companies like Hasbro what toys to release.

It makes a certain amount of sense, what with some of the unexpected bottom of the barrel repaints in movie packaging that we've been seeing of late. Do you have a source on that?

Maybe now's a good time to order one of those WST scale devastator KOs I've been hankering after.

I support appropriate actions to clamp down on the leaked and stolen figure problem. I'm sure Hasbro aren't happy about the theft, but I don't really expect them to be overly concerned about the odd few figures going missing. Where I expect they'll be more concerned is that with figures leaking several months before release, it makes it a lot easier for the KO producers to get a headstart on the latest figures.

It wouldn't surprise me if some of the unpackaged TF:As on ebay right now might already be KOs, or possibly secret runs of figures hastily produced in the same factories after hours.

No one is arguing against that.

However, it is not a justification for the repeated theft of product. Nor is it a justification for your support of that theft.

If high prices were justification for theft and support of illegal operations the world would be a really crappy place.

Unfortunately, due to an inability to get to the USA, and the lack of a printer, I was unable to land one of the Botcon toys, you can guess the one I was aiming for. I never really had a chance anyway. I had some $$ and wanted a loose set.

Anyway, not so rough on those scalpers. for me, they serve a purpose. Granted they are unconcerned with anyone but themselves and their own pockets, But when it comes to getting figures that aren't available in my area, they are useful. However, I won't be paying top dollar, if I can help it, for a botcon figure or any other figure unless I deem it something that I really think is worth it.
