ive said it once & ill say it again, looks like just more of the same. Heres an idea bay if you want a character for the next movie dont kill them off. And if bots can come back so easy then why was jazz never revived? Why do i have the feeling this movie is going to have zombies, time travel & zombies how more unoriginal can you get? It would explain the dinobots, they go back in time to get some prehistoric bots to fight the modern day zombie menace. Throw in a vampire and we have it all. Hopefully megatron is just in a flash back but i doubt it cause bay cant form an original idea to save his life. Only other acceptable reason for megs to be around is to be turned into galvatron

Ok I don't mind Megatron returning but seriously. How many times are we gonna keep killing him off? If Megs is gonna stay dead then let him stay dead. Or if he is coming back at least revive as another character like oh I don't know, Galvatron?

Of course not. I very much enjoy the first three yet I'm quite skeptical of how this fourth one will turn out. When Bay said he would not do a fourth and then did, like many I was aggravated. I think the majority would have preferred an entirely new, Bay free movie. But at least we have potentially good new characters to add to the existing movie toy line.

You all act as if Megatron's return will be something very minor in the movie (like in Revenge of the Fallen). He will just come back from the dead, Right? But, Hasrbo made Megatron's Return a Trademark. Who Knows? Maybe Megatron's return would be a HUGE plot piece, maybe the whole first half of the movie is about returning megatron to life and the autobots trying to stop whoever is trying to get megatron back to life?

Well, I'm sorry, I like Megatron but having coming back just to kill him off agin is really getting old and pointless. A new Decepticon leader would be nice. Or if he's back, just make him Galvatron if the rumors are true. It just dosent surprise me.

if cyclonus is in this movie, then i'd put money on galvatron being in it too. and if that's the case, i hope unicron show's up as well. i just hope that if he does show up, he's not some weird cloud thing like galactus was in f4 pt 2 or parallax was in green lantern.

That was my first thought, but the whole "Megatron Returns" trademark bit is what makes that unlikely. I actually wouldn't mind if humans used Megatron's memories and such to make a Transformer, who takes command of the 'Cons. (And maybe not even name him Galvatron!)
I know that wouldn't be popular, but let's face it: Bay will never make a G1 rehash, and if he can't do that, let's go with something completely new!

I've been practically screaming it for MONTHS now that they should have stopped with 3 films. Now, just when I'm finally starting to warm up to the 4th film and thinking "Hey, maybe this isn't going to suck after all" and in fact I was actually really getting into the whole idea, they go and pull one of the top 5 stupidest moves that will guarantee that this movie will turn into the steaming pile of dog sh** that so many people already think it's going to be! I don't think I've ever had my opinion make such a hard and fast 180 degree turn on anything TF related EVER but this... FU**!! Why not just throw Unicron into the mix (don't even get me started on THAT subject) and resurrect the Twins while they're at it?? Hell, bring back Megan Fox and the little leg-humper too just for sh**s and giggles. Did I cover all of the acts of blatant stupidity or are we still missing some?

And if you can't figure out WHY any of the aforementioned points are blatantly stupid, please don't bother asking me. I'm pissed off and I refuse to lower myself to that level. It should be so obvious a 3rd grader could explain it to you. :BANG_HEAD:

You guys are getting riled up over nothing. It's his head in a box, that doesn't mean he's coming back. There could just be a scene where they're disposing his body or something like that.

Okay, so explain something to me then, when they did the other films, were the other robots not done with foam heads on sticks and an off-scale prop for Bumblebee? This head looks too detailed to me to be CGI'D over, so that right away says "prop", unless someone remembers seeing a full 3D Megatron head used for filming. Doesn't rule out what they do with said prop, but remember that Frenzy was stuffed and mounted in Simmons' freezer, why not Megs.

All I was saying is that, just because we see a severed head of an existing character doesn't mean that said character will be guaranteed a resurrection. In Frenzy's case, we saw his head in ROTF, but he still stayed dead in that movie. The appearance of Megatron's head does not automatically mean he's coming back to life.

The whole return of megatron thing is a real bad move. It may be just a prop, as it was said, but knowing we are talking about michael bay, it might be just another resurection in the process. We can't trust whatever he says cos he said megs wouldnt come back in rotf, yet he came back...

dotm's ending was supposed to bring a closing to the trilogy...

if megs can come back from being beheaded, then Sentinel could come back too while you're at it...

and bring back also starscream as Thundercracker, Dirge or Skywarp?

I will definitively go see the movie out of curiosity, but I won't have any expectations. like that, I won't be pissed or dissapointed

i dunno. the way i see it, megatron can't not be in the movie in some form or other. he was one of humanity's biggest constant threats. the humans would want to know exactly what's become of him. for good or evil intentions.

Just think of all of the war memorabilia we have in museums.
