I havent seen this mentioned anywhere but I find it out of place.

When Prime and that Staffer guy that wants them to leave are talking there is military guy sitting down below with a parabolic mic which soundwave was tapped into for eavesdropping. Now why would a military person be snooping in on a convo like that especially when Prime would be so loud.

I know it will probably never be brought up again but I was thinking that this person was a lil spy for the bad guys that never getz called into action.

it was used bc they were transmitting the convo to another source and they didnt want optimus to be on video so its only voice and that thing was used to transmit the convo, i doubt it was a pretender prob just a movie mistake

Makes sense, not even a movie mistake really. I just thought it could be something subtle that they could reference later.

Like I said though, they probably never would.

Man Rob you may be on it. Not like there wasnt a bunch of other details that just got forgotten about. Heck maybe that was Skorponok and he didnt just pop outta no where for no reason. Though my sarcasm is heavy the point im trying to make is you may be completely right on that one.

I highly doubt it, as Bay would want us to know that hes a pretender, they woulda done something to tip him off for the audience. AS mentioned, it was used for transmitting the convo...and nothing more. I think he was only put on camera so that we were aware of how soundwave was getting the feed.
