My characters are always available for any fiction, so feel free to use whoever. I don't have anything written up yet, but I'll nominate my namesake. He's a former Decepticon war criminal who was brought out of stasis to fight the enemies of the Maximals on their own terms. He has hidden agendas and is linked to the Havocons, but he has a warrior's code of honor and would never leave a comrade in battle. His alt mode would be a red and black two-headed dragon. As for The Maximal POV, if the tourney is still going on we can still work it out. I have it saved and am still willing to work on it. Before the devastation I was going to ask you guys what our winning ending should be because we could have come close to taking it. At least second place for sure, but we would definitely have given the preds a run for their money. Anyways, here's the Maximal POV.
It was madness. The Sonic Canyons was a place where most did not only fear to tread, but were incapable of doing so. The unique conditions of the area were harsh to say the least, but add to that the presense of three enemy armies racing to reach their target ahead of them, made this seem like the mission was doomed from the start. No one is even sure what happened to the Autobot scout party or why the transmission was broadcast like it was. The only thing they knew for sure was if they could not prevent their enemies from reaching the target, then they would have to destroy it. As valuable as the resources would be to the Maximals, they could not afford to let it fall into the hands of their enemies. Every soldier that could be spared was quickly briefed and rushed to the transport ships. They would disembark at the outskirts of the Sonic Canyons where they would have to travel through the cursed land to reach their objective. Throughout the lead transport, mechs were performing last minute checks of equipment and supplies. Vector Maximus was reviewing the best choices for landing zones and possible routes to the impact crater while Wasted Ammo and Caniac were double-checking the powercells and response times of the portable weapons platforms that were being brought along. The two could be heard conversing about how having a citybot would really come in handy at this point. The Maximal forces were nowhere near as large as their enemies and an asset of that calibre could certainly turn the tide in their favor. Plus, as Caniac so eloquantly put it "Then the slagging thing could check itself." To which Wasted Ammo laughed and inquired whether Caniac had ever heard of Trypticon. Cheetron was moving through the groups of soldiers, performing inspections and ensuring that everyone understood their orders and assignments. There was no room for error on this mission, the stakes were high and the enemy was just as determined and probably more prepared. "We're all gonna die." A few sidelong glances and sniggers were the responses Rattrap got. He was always a little pessimistic when a complicated situation arose and this one was no different. The majority of Maximals who haven't worked with the wisecracking saboteur have at least heard about his reputation for assuming the worst. Most, but not all. "Not on my watch." Spiritsong had just finished securing the medical supplies onto one of the platforms and was making her way over to Vector Maximus to report when she overheard Rattrap and stopped to face him. "I refuse to let something like that happen. We have adequate supplies and CR chambers as well as a number of highly trained field medics. We are prepared for just about anything, as long as no one does anything stupid." "Whoa, easy sistah, I'm on your side!" Rattrap held his hands up defensively and took a step back from the now angry femme. After giving him one last stare that would have melted titanium, Spiritsong turned and was once again on her way to deliver her report. The ship's intercom suddenly flared to life, with Kaijubot stating that ETA was in three breems and that everyone should prepare for landing. Mechs finished up what they had been pre-occupied with and rushed to their landing positions, eager to step up and stop their enemies from reaching their goal. Unknowned to all present, one mech was more eager to reach their destination than he let on. The "Glory of Vos" had not been seen or heard of in millenia. The mystery of what happened to the former Governor of Vos, Shotmaker, could be solved at last and Wrath would not miss his opportunity. He will let no one stand in his way of finding out the truth and the secrets it holds.
