how could you ever join them? I mean their second in command sounds like a twelve year old girl!

that's why we need to get our comms fixed asap.

and.. install a minister of Smacktalk, an Autobot Goebels who'll make sure that even the most terrible loss is portrayed in a pg-13 "I'll buy that for a dollar" newsflash...

While this can't be controlled, it's been my observation that being friendly has cost us in a couple of ways:
1. this is why many bots switch over to cons (versus cons switching to bot--which is a much slower rate)
2. this is how the cons get "spies" to infiltrate us ;)

This has been mentioned but I cant stress it enough. Do not go into missions where you are outnumbered. i.e. 2 minutes left 0 Bots 4 Cons in a 6 on 6 mission. The odds that Bots will make it to help you are slim, better to miss the mission then go into stasis lock and give the cons more xp.

Some of us here are a little tooooo comfortable chatting with cons to boot. :-x

Even three members joining forces can change the balance of a battle.

It might not be "cool" to have a list with AWC in your msn groups.. but it sure helps..

And this is why you may find yourself involved with the AWC leadership.
:-?

Thank me I quit programming when Pascal and C++ were still hot!

Neliz, awc or not....u get my vote of confidence!

Keep shouting the message & eventually, enough of our forces will get it.

It should be a primer for new recruits. they hardly seem to read or post on the forum but I do see them butchered on the battlefield

awc do's and dont's -or- common sense? i hardly see the purpose of strict rules esp since no one can regulate entry into missions.

back in the day there used to be requirements to join certain missions. ah the good old days.

also there is a thread about this same exact topic already in this forum.

viewtopic.php?f=54&t=36542

please keep awc stuff separatefrom non-awc stuff and i would hope one thread is enough to do so until we can the kinks worked out for our forum.

and remember too many rules makes things not fun

1.Take note of the Con:Bot ratio in the missions.

2.Check out how many Level0 bots are in the mission.
(I've seen Missions with a range of Level 0-3 for 3 bots per side which have 2 Level0s Bots against 2 Level3s.)

3.DO NOT BLINDLY PILEUP INTO MISSIONS JUST FOR THE SAKE OF ENTERING A MISSION. IT GETS ANNOYING WHEN YOU AREN'T A LEVEL0. AND LEVEL0s, THAT'S ALSO WHY YOU SOMETIMES LOSEOUT EVEN WHEN JUST FACING ONE OPPONENT.

AWC - Do's and Dont's

Fellow AWC members.

Impaired access to the AWC forums drove me to posting this in the Autobot forum.

I'm not going to avoid the issue here. we're in a BAD state.
With Omega Sentinel down. the AWC council is unable to properly initiate our new troops.

This includes myself but I'm not going to stand around while I see my fellow AWC recruits getting slaughtered because we lack organization and command.

I'm not going to tell you about configurations, but I will try to help us through our guidance drought.

so, fellow AWC members, please follow these guidelines:

*** DO NOT BRING YOUR LEVEL0 BOT IN A CROSS-LEVEL MISSON! ***
No matter how cool it is to go on a 0-3 mission, the Predacons will FEAST on your corpses and you will be left with NO XP an NO €nergon.

Check how many and what level your fellow Autobots are before entering a mission. It will lead us nowhere when six Level 0 Autobots try to assault a group of Level 2 or Level 3 Decepticons.

*** STICK TO YOUR OWN LEVEL ***
Seriously, it's already hard to battle Con's on your own level. You WILL run into problems fighting other cons at your own level. Better configurations and variance in levels will leave you wondering how a level 1 bot can beat another level 1 bot.

*** CHECK BOT:CON RATIO BEFORE YOU ENTER A MISSION ***

6 to 1 or 5 to 1 are suicide ratios.
4 to 1, 3 to 1 and 2 to 1 are SUICIDE RATIOS

get the point?

The odds of you having a better bot than the opposition is small and if they gang up on you your chances of scoring even remote to 100 points are somewhere between not and none.

The Cons WILL gang up on you. even with one minute left on the timer, don't be surprised to find a large force of Cons entering the mission when you've just blinked with your eyes.

*** DON'T BLINDLY PILE-UP ON A MISSION ***

It is frustrating for anyone BUT the cons to see a large group of Level 0 Autobots, lead into battle by a Level 1 Bot. Two Level 3 Cons WILL crush us under those circumstances. Heck, even ONE well built Con will.

P.S. I'm NOT an AWC council member!
I do this of my free will, we NEED to put up a fight against the cons!
