Robot modes were supposed to make your bot stronger or faster or whatever, some special way. The concept was to make it like the characters: some are bigger, some more agile, etc (as robots, regardless of vehicle mode). It was going to be another parameter to tweak your bots, but it could have unbalanced the game. We are left with upgrading abilities normally.

The question is, what can Robot Mode Tactics do that isn't already covered by regular tactics?

Well, back when they were still active, Robot Modes would enhance one or two of your Bots' abilities, depending on which type you chose. But they were crudely removed, which caused a stir, and that's about all you need to know...

Doooh! Oh, well. It's not like I wasted Xp I couldn't get back in a week or less.

I've been not-playing for a long time. I never fought a Predacon until a few hours ago.

So, now I have a quick question that shows off how long I've been gone:

What are Robot Mode abilities? Are they something weapon-specific, like the Targetmaster weapon? Or am I just waiting Xp on something that I can't even use and doesn't matter at all?

Thank you for answering and not beating me up. :D
