Well said.

I've enjoyed being a Pred because of the cooperation. I feel dirty for saying that...

Can you re-post the rest of that? Iz, once againz, confuzzled.

Don't you think I forgot already myself?

I think I wanted to write that same squad based thingy but then as "For HMW to be truly attractive it's not so much about factions, as it is about the players and how they cooperate"

Ah sheet, I just want them to go! don't go make up reasons for them not too :(

For HMW to truly.. wait I'll post that in the.. no wait.. I was thinking about "Squad based gameplay"

no larger overall sub-factions but a "Squad" of five to six users that .. shyte. HMW v2 thread that is.

Numbers aside, activity seems to be the larger problem. Predacons have the smallest numbers but I have no complaint for backup. We are usually outnumbered but we've found complimentary builds and I've learned how other commanders run their teams that I know whom to enter with them. My win percentage proves how Bots/Cons are truly dominant, but my XP growth isn't affected.

My best missions are when I'm the first to enter on both sides because the rest of the slots seem to fill up quickly. Maximals don't seem to have that backup as consistently. I've unfortunately got a slew of Pred overrunning Maximal missions in my history.

Fixed. Given how I've never complained (nor did I above) that's an over-reaching generalization.

Likely true. However, if all would join missions rather than the arena that would likely change to at least good fights (6v4 or 6v5, which still renders a good match). That deduction is from experience.

The standard Pred seems to have enough insanity to ignore the numbers and blindly enter any mission though, hence the backup. It's a reverse Zerg, if you will.

You aren't the only one. I feel bad going into those missions because if a maxi shows up there is only one or two and then I feel bad for joining the zerg rush and pummeling them with sheer numbers.

maximals are there to help your bots recover after a reset/rebuild.

I don't care for maxi's and preds since the only thing they can do is complain about their small numbers. Back to two factions and it'll be straight fighting.

Since I'm still trying to drag my troops out of the level 0 quagmire they are my #2 mission of choice. I'll beat down preds all day long if I can find the missions and usually have better luck xp wise.

Battles vs Maximals

Post by Vitatech » Wed Dec 10, 2008 8:00 pm

i feel badly about going into battle vs Maximals. but those missions usually are the most lop-sided to us Autobots, where a lot of missions verse decepticons are not so. sometimes i see it as "training" for my bots. but i like Maximals and i'd rather not fight them. anyone else feel this way?
