Just finished my rounds of taking double the classes in my masters degree program and will be graduating in 4 months. Kind of fell off the face of Cybertron when I had to go through cognitive reconstruction therapy for my hyperacusis and auditory processing delay while taking said double the classes at one time :BANG_HEAD:

Fell behind in my classes for a bit because of it, but I'll be making a conscious effort to be back here more...again. :MAXIMAL:

If you have genuine ideas that you think will rejuvenate the game, bring them up.

Don't expect coding changes. Don't expect news posts. (I mean I could put a news post but I doubt it'll do much)

Simple fact, the ship for this style of game has sailed. If this style of game (what is essentially text based) was still popular, then we'd all be fighting each other on the Oregon Trail.

Dude, I appreciate the enthusiasm (though the feeling is mostly countered by the way you're on Ryan's nuts in that last post) but that ship has sailed.
We brought people back, we gave this game the biggest push it's had since its heyday... and Ryan pissed it away with empty promises & apathy.

There is no way in hell we're gonna get that going again without some real improvements & time investment from Ryan... and I wouldn't hold your breath for that to ever happen.

You never know what will happen. I am just trying to bring optimism back. Will not lie I never read the post by Ryan but I have to think something good will happen with this if it shows a little interest. Call me a sucker for a beat down. Lol.

Well, you posted in a forum that hasn't seen a comment this year, until your post. That should of been your first sign. I know in the past I have been guilty of coming back without a clue, but I did read timestamps. I appreciate your optimism, but this isn't the place for it. Put a post in the main HMW forum. That might get a few views, hardly no one posts in here anymore, let alone play the game. I have no issue with you trying, Hell I'd even help you, but don't preach to the people who have tried to get the game going again. We had damn near 40ish player a few years ago with some nice momentum and it was wasted when Ryan halted any hope of updates.

I thought you would of chatted us up a bit in the fb chat. We all would have told you what you needed to know. Hopefully, I won't get another PM that I won't care to respond to.

Good to see you in the fb chat. Ryan did a site update after 10+ years and promptly disappeared after he threaten us with game updates. The site is still out of date.

I am sure Ryan did not just disappear, but other things probably came up. For HMW it was never meant to be the big show runner it became back in the day but it did. The site in general from the series, movies, comics, and toys were his original passion for the site. HMW was a add on that took a life of it's own back in the early days of the site.

For HMW it is up to the players to keep it going. No matter what faction, leveled bots, or how long someone has been playing it was meant to us to keep it going that way. Personally if we want HMW to become better than this it is up to us to recruit players. Honestly both bot and con because we need both. If we know people that used to play lets try to have them come back casually which could lead to more often.
