I paid less than that for them separately...and I was dumb and bought leader Prime at full price the day it was released. I suppose all the good sales are over now, though...other than the Target coupon deal.

yeah you can pay less for them separately right now..sales still going on in Wal-Mart and K-marts, and toys-R-us.. at least in my area anyway..

toy stores are gearing up for Harry Potter and Gi joe movie merchandise..

hopefully Devastator will be on clearance by November..but i doubt it, most retailers will be trying to get some Extra X-mas cash..

I'm gonna get them separately and ignore the HTS value pack deal.. 80.00 plus shipping?? I can get them cheaper..say paying 74.00 total and no shipping charges..

Keep a eye on the gold box deals on amazon.. I picked up leader prime and megatron on seperate occasions for 33 bucks and free shipping.. The shipping estimates said it would take 7-9 days but i got both in less than 3 days..fo free

I'm hoping that JF will pop in the gold box as well

Ordered with the free shipping code since I can't seem to find Jetfire around here. Figure I get it now and can always return it if I find it cheaper elsewhere...

How would you return it to HTS if you found it cheaper elsewhere? And wouldn't you still have to pay the return shipping even if you could?

Damnit!! I don't own a credit card, gave them up 4 years ago, so I use Paypal to pay by echeck, and the money comes straight out of my savings account.. no bank card either.. keeps me from spending too much on eating out..
Had to force limits on myself.. especially when on a budget..

Hasbro's Paypal Purchasing has to have a credit card or bank card attached to it!! No echecks through Paypal allowed.. that Sucks ass!!
so now I can't get this set..

that completely sucks!

I guess I'm just gonna take off early and go store shopping..

Thats a pretty good 2 pack. I was going to get leader Jetfire but cancelled my pre-order after spending too much on Alternity figures.

Yeah it is a shame but it's a sad thing, not having a job. I don't have any cash i can spend. Last Transformers I bought were Ransack and Dirt Boss. Granted, I'm only 14 but I need more cash because collecting Transformers eats through your money, IMO. Then again, why should someone lose out on a Prime figure when all I would do is break it? Every Transformer i own is jinxed!

That would be nice. I knew I should have waited just a little longer to buy these guys. I never would have realized they'd be offered as a set though, so now worries. I might pick up another Prime one of these days, but for now I'm happy with the one I have.

Why does Hasbro keep doing this to us? Buy new Leader, they tease us with "Buster" OP; win ROTF Jetfire on ebay; release "Power Up" combo.

BTW, "Power Up" is simply amazing, was going to separate combo, just don't want to now (Jetfire lives on in Optimus Prime)
