SO! If your TRU's are anything like mine, those Platinum Editions are warming shelves hard. They've even been discounted (not enough for most) and I just saw them discounted further, and with a buy one get the second half off (the already discounted price)! I bought my Goatly Soundwave a while ago, so I decided to snag Prime and the Insecticons (together just 140 CAD!). The new base prices are in the pics below, along with my receipt.

Having already both G2 Lazer Optimus and RiD Scourge, plus MP Soundwave, and only a vintage G1 Kickback missing, those are still way too expensive for my needs.

If Goat Optimus go down to 50$, I may buy him just for the sake of having the trio. I may keep it sealed.

Negative Nelly Reporting:
After a couple drops already, the half off deal, I really doubt we'll see any more drops. 100 is the top end of what I'd pay for Prime (80-90 is more what it should have been), and the bugs for 35 is a dream. I'm pleased as punch with my deal today

We used to have a few people who worked at TRU on this board. If there still are, can you guys look up the skus for the following products?

-Computron
-Liokaiser
-Fan Combiner
-Menasor (G2)
-Superion (G2)
-Bumblebee (masterpiece)
- Anything platinum

Oh and if ever someone has pictures of the cards that come with the combaticons, pelase post them if possible.

74$ for that triple changer platinum set is insane, so I was waiting for Amazon to be stuck with a bunch of them and lower the price to 40$. But sadly, they wont since there are now only 9 left of this set. I am surprised it will sell out at this price, was it ever lower than 69$?

I'm not usually one to moan about the cost of things... but I really want that Primal and there's no way I'm paying more than half of this. Seriously Hasbro, either cut the prices of these Platinums or don't bother selling them. No one bought the last batch of Platinums until they were slashed several times....

As for Superion, it's only around 30$ more expensive than if you'd buy all the figures separately. In comparison to other Platinums, that's pretty reasonable.

No need to wait, I wrote the skis so that people here can get rainchecks the next time there is a sale on items above 50$. For the g2 stuff, Walmart carries them too so getting them at a discount won't be that big a problem

Been a while there was something new at retail. Finally found the following. The price for the rescue bots is terrible when you know that they are 19.99 in the states. The RID figures though are more understandable, they match the exchange. I will still wait for a sale though.

I'm tempted to pull the trigger on the two packs, just not $20.00 tempted. I think I'll wait for a sale.

Lots and lots of YOTM Primal Primes and the Hot Rod/Junkions sets at the Oakville & Burlingron TRU.

Spoiler Alert: I saw the new Titans Returns Hot Rod a few days ago and I'm happy to say it blows the old Rodimus mold out of the water. His wave mates are pretty great looking too, hard to say who the best of the bunch is.

All of the Walmarts in this area are doing their shelf shuffle and the TF sections around here have been pretty much, cut in half. I'm sure they will do another Voyager sale to blow all those Motormasters out the door soon (not that it worked that well last time)

You are not alone. If these get discounted 50% (which being walmart online toys probably will), I am pretty sure I'll buy it. What price would you buy it at?

I'd probably settle for $99.95 + tax. A 50% off sale would be amazing if it were to come up though!

Got G2 Superion for 25% off, used that Kelloggs coupon from a couple months back for another 10$ off, plus found Brawley and Swindle to throw on e Hobby Nemesis Prime for 25% off, made for a good Friday find!
