That was a mold I had been chasing since I missed it at retail. Finally picked up Landquake at BotCon last year. I would have settled for Landmine, but I always liked 'quake's deco better.

Super chunky. Super cool. Super fun toy!
Love the visored head sculpt.

Is the 3rd deco a Con exclusive of some kind?

The Two guys together.

It's really a strange set. One of the most detailled and complex Generation Deluxe, with ... ok not the worse, but at least the most simplistic looking and less detailled of TR line.
They don't match at all.

So in the end ?

I initially planned to resell the WFC Prime as I already had the original.
Except now I have it, I think I'll keep it. I can't choose which one is the best. I like the more vivid colors, as well as the neon blue instead of neon pink.
It's the same conflict as between the orginal Supercon armada Prime and the Galaxy force vivid repaint.

For Orion Pax, I decided to prefer him to Kup because of the head before even buying it.
Now I got it, I'm a bit deceived by this head (the T30th was more detailled aven if smaller), but it's still far better from the Kup's one.
The plastic remains the same, whic means this strange porous-looking cheap plastic. Strange considering the WFC got the same high grade plastic as the first release.
And he is as floppy as Kup..

Oh and if you need one more reason to prefer Orion instead of Kup :

Dang! Tough choice on the Kup mold. I remember reading you weren't thrilled with Kup. Orion does look awesome.
I'm not a huge fan of video game Prime. A tad too fiddly for my taste. Still a good figure though. I think that new deco smokes the old one. That's for sure.

Did they give Orion's head a name?

Another one "Took long time to get".

I got all the limbs as they were part of wave 2 and were still "new", but I didn't got Motormater because it was only a retool of Prime. During this time they served as limb for Optimus;

Finally a good price on ebay convinced me, the team is now complete.

Hey, it's lacking updates here !

I've been doing lot of of "ebay scalping" lately (in the role of the scalped one, not the scalper).

First with this lady, who will never arrive in my contry on other ways :

Finally an Arcee I can be happy with, as I didn't like the Generations version.
I even kept the box, it's a nice one.

Next with MetalHawk, the only on the set which interest me :

On the first online pictures I was a bit "meh, what are this stupid colors, I'll not get him". But now he replaced TriggerHappy on my shelves..
Not the first time I have this kind of reaction.

Victorion had an terrible color scheme on my opinion, so I waited a lot after Takara's version, and was a bit deceived when it happened.
Very good idea for mega empress, but still a bit meh about the others, adding the the fact they are the 58th retools/repaints of the car/copter mold. So thanks to ebay, I've been able to get only MegaEmpress.
I don't mind for the limbs, there's new ladies incoming in Potp next year. In the meatime she'll form Menasoria.

After all this scalping, finally a normal release :

Took me very very looong time to decide which one to get betwen SkyShadow and overlord. Better colors scheme and head for skyshadow, more play pattern for Overlord with the detachable jet. It would have been easier to choose with a 3rd repaint on Autobot theme.

Guess what happened ?

I fell so much in love with Overlord, that I had to order his "brother".

Really it was completely unexpected, as from the pictures I was not really convinced by their mold.
But once I got Overlord in hand, wow, I enjoyed it immediately. He's fun to play with, period. And SkyShadow is even better.

In the same time, deceived by the price of the Primus recolor, I finally decided to track the original one. I passed on it during the original release because of space/storage (was in a small appartment) and always regretted it.
I finally was able after several months of ebay tracking to bid on a not so expensive one (47€), so here he is after all this time :

I don't regret at all. This robot mode is definitely better than Twinferno. Love this head, htis torso, the colors, everything.

From pictures, I thought Rodimus would be my fave, but it appears I prefer Optimus. I have quite nothing to complain outside Orion's head.
I also already replaced the crappy stickers with reprolabels vinyl's ones.

Nice shots!! Just watched EmGo's review of PotP Rodimus and he had most of those comparisons you took photos of. Not all together at the same time but at least he brought them in to frame!!

I've got to agree with your assessment though, I thought I was going to be all in for Rodimus and now I want to wait and try to pick up DX9 Carry from somewhere. I had him paid for and everything but cancelled before it shipped when he originally came out. All the regrets.

I'm still not sure what to think about the duocons.
Together the'yre fine, but individually, they're really terrible.
I think Hasbro should have sold them in two packs.

I passed on Windcharger because of the terrible head, but it's the contrary for tailgate, that's a cool head. He'll replace the T30 one.

- Superlink Megazarak.

My Energon Scorponok has a broken shoulder. I've an ebay scout searching for parts for long time and recently it listed me a super-cheap Superlink version. Cheaper than most Habsro's ones. I couldn't resist then.

- TR Powermaster Optimus.

I did the contrary of most people here. I first got Ginrai before this one.
I thought I would never pick him up, being a bit subpar as Ginrai in my opinion. But in the end I realized because of it's complexity, I never play with Ginrai who sits on his shelf, so I finally went weak and got Prime, just in order to play with him sometimes. I found a second-hand one on ebay, I was not ready for the full price. Also I may be wrong but it looks like price for him is increasing on ebay.

- Legends Brainstorm.

I already have the hasbro one, but from the begining I was looking on the legends one too, I'm not fan of the headsculpt, but I think the colors are fantastics with these black wings.
