Found me a Quake at a Walgreens near my work. I think I may like him even better than Hardhead (I don't have a particular attachment to either character or G1 toy/toon accuracy). The face sculpt is particularly nice with the bright yellow face and red eyes. Kinda has a babyface, an evil babyface.

Found a lone Leader Sky Shadow at my local Walmart. That one, I could NOT wait for a sale.

I also couldn't wait to play with it before remembering I had to take a picture.



That figure is PERFECT all over. Appart the mini jet which peg too loosely on the side of his arm. Sky Shadow is a beauty, well crafted, simple and fun to transform, and will be a whole lot of fun for kids of all ages.

See it? BUY IT.

Now, to wait for the Thunderwing (remold?) and the obvious Overlord one.

Far as I know most people agree that the Crashbash mold is one of if not the best Titan Masters - and until Trypticon comes out, doesn't Fort Max win best Titan by default?

I would agree with Crashbash and Gnaw. But I think in just the photos and leg that has been revealed for Trypticon so far beats out the disappointment that is Fort Max.

Metroplex did it better than TR Maxi and that Maxi is way inferior to the original G1. Max should had his own mold. This give me hope for Trypticon.
Anyway, for a Transformers to be the "best", it have to "WOW" me. Just a "eh, neat" is not enough. The little kid in my must smile when I play with the thing. So far, Sky shadow, Astrotrain, and Trigger Happy did it for me. I havent any chances to ever see the 3rd wave of TR legends.

Gnaw and Kickback make for the best Legends as far as the recent releases.

Triggerhappy and Kup 1st place best in deluxe

2nd place would be Hotrod.

Skyshadow and Sixshot would be a tie imho.

Btw, the feedback on Sixshot concerning how the wings hit the tank treads in his 4WD mode is a bit harsh. When I transformed him, I didn't get any clearance issues.So it's up to you how you give him clearance.

In tank mode, the complaints I can raise is that the Tm revolver can't fully fit into the cockpit unless you compress him into head mode.

Lack of knee ratchets, that I agree with. If included and Revolver having additional paint apps , would make him a 5 out of 5 figure.

I still think Blurr can give Triggerhappy a run for his money, if he has the right deco of course.

And yes, Crashbash is the Titanmaster winner, hands down. All fun modes and nice integration. Though Apeface is close too. And for Legends I dont know, I still think Rewind and Rumble are pretty phenominal, maybe tied with Gnaw.

Also Kanrabat, you are so LUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to 2 walmarts today and saw nothing.

I just got a TR Blurr (finally) since Wave one didn't bother to show up in anywhere near me I've had to be chasing them to get them.

He's much well "greener" than I expected him to be and much lighter too. he looks really dark in pictures but he's not darker blue at all.

He's a quite a compact little guy - nice solid feeling head on him.
If I had one small complaint it would be why on earth they painted his legs in almost the same colour as the plastic underneath - that is a pretty strange thing to do. I would also have preferred the option to store the gun underneath backward so it's not visible in vehicle mode too.

One other strange thing is he has some holes on his sides that are not 5mm holes they are more like 4mm and so I have to scratch my head there.

Hot Rod has a new pal anyway now which is nice. He's a lot better than I expect and he has wrist swivels that are nothing to do with the Transformation with is pretty terrific too.

Yeah, seeing the hands in alt mode is not great, but having them on her shoulders or hands in bot mode is cool. She's very sturdy, and the quality is definitely there, though - why they didn't try harder with the alt mode is unknown.....

Good point, Ironhidensh - I try to talk about all the bots, but that Cliffjumper I also got as part of the shipment wasn't for me....but I wish it had been! I love his cybertron mode.

Its cool, but this is a very very finicky bot. it gets tough to sqeeze everything in him. Lets just say it this way, I have just finished writing a list of top 5 cliffjumper toys... and he isnt on it

But to be fair, there are quite a few cliffjumper toys, especially since he became his own character with unique molds in the Prime line.

To be honest, I don't believe I have any versions of CJ, since I always thought of him as red Bumblee (from a toy-perspective) -- I'd love to see these other, unique incarnations.
