A modest but very fun haul.

At a thrift shop I found a little dude in a 4$ baggie of random trash. My hope was low for a complete and unbroken figure but I took my chances... and it paid!

Lo and behold a dude I stupidly skipped at the time, HFTD scout Brimstone! Complete, unbroken, pristine! I had that guy for a long time as junk in my box-o-scraps for my customs. But having it in perfect shape, I can see how awesome that figure is.

First, a perfect bike mode, with the head hiding in plain sight.

A very creepy but cool robot mode, with tiny lady hands.

And finally, a head with a face to haunt your nightmares!

By the way, I gave back the junk that was in the baggie along Brimstone. No regrets!

Today's modest haul but with a twist:
Kreo minifig Galvatron and a small Asterix plushie as a bonus. But wait 'till you see the price I paid... (in CAN$ of course)

Sure, Archambault is known to inflate their prices a bit, but the pocket change I paid is quite insane!

Village des Valeur is a nice thrift shop with a good rotation of goods. But Archambault is FAR from one. It's a pretty posh deluxe book, music, musical instruments, movie, and random toys shop. Both the Asterix plush and the Kreo were found in some bargain clearance box. THAT was quite the score! I mean, less than 3.50$CAN for BOTH! WITH TAXES! The plushie alone was 15$CAN+tx originally! Too bad there was no Obelix.

Well, I wasn't expecting to come home with any toys today; but I was quite pleasantly surprised by a few sales I found!

First stop was Entertainer - they're still charging TR Deluxes for £23 (SERIOUSLY), but in amongst their nefarious all-but-scalping methodoly there was a little RiD sale going on; including Mini-Con Weaponizers for £3.50! Was a bit disappointed by no Dragonus (the one I really wanted), but I happily picked up Tricerashot.

Right next to Entertainer was B&M where I really didn't expect to come home with a Transformer - to me the place is home of marked-down Jelly Babies and some rather hilarious Knockoffs; including these rather lovely oversized Combiner Wars Deluxes someone on Twitter found. I've found a few Roadbots in there before so I expected to run into a couple KOs I could laugh at and post pictures of here... but to my surprise not only were they not carrying any KOs (not any that I could see at least; and I searched for a fair bit), but they had actual real Transformers for very generous prices! RiD Mini-Cons for £3, CW Legends for £6, Crazybolt for a tenner; they were apparently selling CW Voyagers for £15 though I couldn't find any. And, the single Combiner Wars Deluxe they were selling? For £10, the last Deluxe I wanted - Mirage. This was a truly beautiful haul today.

Just got him open, and I gotta say - I'm quite a fan.

Very cute triceratops mode, simple and fun transformation, and a surprisingly convincing weapon mode. Alright there's clearly feet sticking in the air, but it's a one-step tiny targetmaster figure - I ain't gonna give it flack, especially when the overall shape of the weapon is rather impressive.

I was going to post this all at once with other stuff, but I'm STILL waiting for Cheetor, Grapple, and Leo Prime to show up... Why is this taking so looooong! :-(

Anyway, these came in last week. I had won some Mandarake auctions (no TF stuff) so I added these on for cheap.

Transformers United EX Rollermaster vs. Choppermaster 1,200 JPY (US$10.75) sealed. I've been wanting Rollermaster since the Convobat comics and more so since the Magna Convoy comics. Won't find a better price than this, it's like getting Choppermaster free.
