Last of the Wave 2 toys I wanted, besides the Primemasters. Once the rest of the Terrorcons come out, I’m wrapping up. I saw Moonracer today too, but I was less impressed with her figure.

Picked up PotP Windcharger after Walmart stocked a second case of PotP Legends wave 2 and looking like they wouldn't be geting wave 1 again. He's a much better looking figure (especially the head) in hand than in pics. His bot mode is solid, his car mode is super solid, and the transformation process is pretty easy once you get the hang of popping the windshield in place. Haven't decided if I'm going to get Tailgate or not, I have his CW figure and not the CW Windcharger figure so I might keep them different this way.

I also have a Generations Tailgate, but seeing how G1 correct the PotP Tailgate is, I want him instead, and maybe Windcharger too. Gonna sell my Gen Tailgate. (along with a Cliffjumper perhaps, he's a bit meh).
Keeping Swerve though, that one looks great.

Well Saturday I spent the day with my girl and played meet the parents. We all went to Walmart, and I found an Elita-1! Only wave 2 figure there. And then today after work, my local walmart had Hun-Gurr but no Elita-1, and Battletrap! I am going to be doing some combining here soon, with my 1 set of PotP limbs and with Battletrap, but wanted to share!

Found the PotP Wave 2 Legends today. I only opened Tailgate so far, since I already have Windcharger. I was hoping to get to the other 2, but parenting got in the way. Tomorrow it is for those 2.

And he has me wondering if I'm doomed to have an esthetic defect in some shape or form with every figure I buy. Mind you, I can live with them, and I have worse, but it still bothers me. Excess paint, plastic marring, white stripes on the sculpting edges...

I hope your enjoying your new figure Jelze, and I'm sorry about the figure mars, but happy to hear that you can enjoy them all the same. I usually don't notice the Q.C. issues myself until I stop just playing with them and having fun and start to really look at all the details, but like you I generally find that it's easy to overlook.

It also helps that the offending parts can be easily fixed or replaced in the long run, and the joints are tight enough. My wife says the issues make him "special", semi-seriously I think?

My wife used to say something along those lines, that at least I had a "one-of-a-kind special toy" that way.

I just picked up PoTP Starscream and Skullgrin. I can see why people are complaining about Starscream, but honestly, those things don't bother me. He's mostly going to be staying in robot mode anyway.

I like Skullgrin, but I think I'd prefer to have a new G1 style deluxe or voyager one more. Oh well, this one is good!

No, I havent ever been asked to pay custom fees ever since I switch over to using Anime Export and preordered on time. So my total for MP Megs was $172 USD, shipped and all

I found these guys yesterday at Walmart. Unfortunately Rippersnapper is getting returned. His shoulder cannons were both either rights or lefts instead of one of each. That makes for 2 figures so far from PotP that I've had to return due to QC issues so far. Not too good a start Hasbro...

As for the figures, all 3 are really nice. My biggest gripe is with how they packaged Blackwing. The packing was so tight that his rubber tailfins are curly from being squished in there. They are already much better from being out of the package for about 12 hours, so they should return to normal soon, I hope.

you can easily unbend rubber by cooking some water, pouring it into a bowl, carefully dip the parts in the water, let them heat up and straighten out, then dunk them in cold water and let them set.

No scratches, and yes he is the reissue. But just to be safe, I removed the chest clip to only attach it in robot mode.

Same thing happen with a whole bunch of TR Trigger Happy last year. That was one of the 8 or 10 figures I got with some nasty QC issues last year. Look like the trend continue. Sigh. I'm not throwing away any receipts anymore.

Initial impression: I've only opened Bee. He feels A LOT more stable and solid than the TLK wave 3 Bee. Doesn't feel as cheap either.

Boxes are very nice.

Stinger looks much less impressive in hand.

My local comic shop, who I use to purchase some of my harder to find prices in store,received a case of wave 2, and I was sad, there is another collecter near me who uses them too And snagged all the stuff I needed. (I really enjoy the guys/gals who run this place and so spend some money in there just to see and support them) I was passing by Toys r Us a little later, figured what the helm and got Evil Roddy! The only wave 2 stuff they had. I love the idea of him and did the whole alternate time line cannon in my head and will probably team him up with vector prime and Orion pax and all Terminator it up. He was sent back into the past to destroy Orion Pax before the matrix can be passed to him, preventing Hot Rod ever receiving the matrix and thus the destruction of Unicron.
