No, they weren't. Elita One was a mover and shaker in the resistance against the 'cons, and Arcee is a pretty smart cookie in her own right.

But...they were both pinkbots. For crying out loud...PINK? Come on.

Hi, I'm new to the forum but have been lurking around for a while. I am so glad to see that there are other female fans out there. Transformers was my favorite show when I was a kid. I'm mostly am familiar with g1 since that was the main version that aired in our area. Also they didn't air around here till '87. I was attracted to it because of the characters, action and adventure.
As for not caring much for Arcee and the other female Autobots at the time, I hated pink(don't ask) :shock:

. But I like them now as an adult and still am a big fan of Transformers :grin:

Had I watched G1 as a child, I would've liked the girl TFs. My favorite characters were usually the females. Catwoman was my favorite Batman villian, Dot was my favorite Animaniac, and so on.

Fair enough...I haven't read the BotCon comics. But frankly, if someone that close to me (and kids, no less) got blown to pieces, I'd be pretty emo, too.

I was a young teen when the show came on, so didn't even become a TF fan until about 8 yrs ago. (I've made up for it since then thou!)

My husband now isn't even a TF fan. People laugh at us because I go to Botcons and he stays at home. They think it should be the other way around.

I was 14 when the G1 series hit the air....was the ONLY cartoon that I watched back then...formed a fan-club when I was 15 and ran it til I was 19....I watched the Beast Wars series (fairly unimpressed with it, although their version of Megatron was a little cooler than the G1 version, but his form was kinda goofy)....Just can't shake the fanaticism for Transformers... :grin:

I was born in 1986... it wasn't until the 90s when I was introduced to Transformers by my older brother, who pretty much grew up watching them. Been hooked ever since.
