Autobot032 wrote:More new images of Masterpiece Hot Rod? Is that even possible? Apparently it is.
Just when you think you've seen enough of Ol' Roddy, AmiAmi comes to the rescue to give you even more of what you've already seen. However, there are some new images to share this time, so it's a tad newsworthy. This news comes to us courtesy of fellow Seibertron staffer mooncake623.
First, clean images without the "DO NOT COPY" watermark. (As if it was going to work, anyway...)
Second, new comparison image with Masterpiece Ultra Magnus and Daniel. (You can see Magnus, along with Daniel, in all his glory in our gallery right here. Oh, and remember to pick up the reissue if you haven't, yet. Amazing figure!)
Thirdly (and finally) an image of his assortment of accessories in better detail.
You're going to say "We've seen these images before!" and for the most part, you have, right here in fact.
So, while they're wringing the photography for all it's worth, might as well feast your eyes on the paltry number of new images left to be seen on this guy. Heck, all we need now is a box image and we're good to go.

Hot Rod is expected to be released sometime in the first quarter of 2016, but as with all Takara Tomy Masterpieces, don't be surprised if he's delayed. It's not the first time a Masterpiece has missed the target date.
This figure also went up at HLJ along with the following new products:
QTF08 Jet Fire
QTF07 Ironhide (Toyota Hiace)
Soft Transformer Nazo Nazo Optimus Prime
Soft Transformer Nazo Nazo Bumblebee
Soft Transformer Nazo Nazo Lockdown
LG19 Sprung
And last but not least, a comeback for the Trasformer Decoy figures which can also be used as erasers. This set is 15 pieces.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

RiddlerJ wrote:I took the plunge, already saw some preorder figures were sold out. I had to get the Scattershot/Onslaught combo. I really aint into Scattershot but it wouldn't hurt to have him on the shelf.
It's strange because they did do retolling on Scattershot. The jet mode looks different enough. Don't know why they couldn't bother with remolding the combiner head.

william-james88 wrote:Woah woah wait a sec, 32.99$ for Onslaught?!?!?!?!?! That is insane, and plus its sold out?! If I were BBTS I would just see that as a sign that I should always raise my price on the more desired items bu 33%. Well, at least its scalper proof.

Not a very pleasant price isn't it? Retail price here for voyagers is $24.99, so no thank you, especially when you consider their shipping rates

Well shipping for me is only $4 from bbts, they're only ~6 hours north of me
