I'm thinking it will. They love their holiday coupon codes (now where is a post Christmas one when you need the damn thing)
But that isn't a holiday for a holiday coupon code

But it's the new year! should be a coupon for the first few weeks of the New year to serve to get rid of Christmas stock.
Also of note: it's funny that on BBTS, Armada Megs is $29.99 while G1 Megs is $49.99, and the legends class ranges from $7.99 (Warpath) to $14.99 (Viper). I'm surprised Viper is still holding that cost

Florida? I love me some Florida beaches! BTW, what's taking you guys so long to get Onslaught?Hellscream9999 wrote:D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Cobotron wrote:I don't live in Florida, but I ROCK the Heartland!
Still no sign of Vortex Transforming Toy Available For Pre-order/Instock Online...

No and it's aggravating. I'm really really hoping he comes in tomorrow, along with Onslaught
HA! Got the onslaught/sky lynx case on pre-order

They're an Australian retailer.
No wonder I have never heard of them. Sometimes I feel like me and you are the only American regulars left on this site. Im not gonna drop names, but a lot of people from the USA stopped posting here because of the constant culture shock.
60% of members are from the US. And I don't know why people would run away from culture on a fan site dedicated to toys of Japanese origins.

Not sure where you came up with the 60% figure unless you conducted a survey from IP addresses perhaps? Reading further down the comments its refreshing to see there are some Floridians on here. Although in the last couple of years the site has seen an influx of members from 2 particular non-Asian countries who I find myself constantly in disagreement with due to cultural differences. Many of the people I know who stopped posting here from the US are former staff. Im not going to put their business out there because theyre either cool with me in person or cool with someone I know in person. But out of pure curiousity, I wonder what percentage of current active staff members and mods on this site actually live in the US ? (Besides Ryan)

[color=deeppink]Just a thought, irony of the two quotes above aside.... maybe the above is the cause of disagreements as opposed to cultural differences?

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

The 60% is publicly available data. Just check this out http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/seibertron.com
It's actualy 58.6% of people who visit seibertron are from the US but I preferred giving a whole number. And that stat is a good index to measure the rest by. A bunch of staff replied to your last comment, including news staff and mods. Just read their comments and read their position and you will see there are quite few americans here.
But I still strongly beleive that it doesnt matter how many americans are around when discussing about toys that werent american to begin with. Hasbro is an international company and it's Transformers franchise is shared with Japan to the point that each of their toys has a counterpart there. And all designs are based on initial Japanese (G1) designs. So I dont see how being internationally inclined would be bad.

Let's get back on topic. This thread has a very specific purpose. I'm sure there are plenty of other threads where we can discuss Seibertron politics and demographics, and the pros and cons of small retailers Vs. large retailers.
Thanks.

Sorry if I got too off topic. But the staff members with the blue screen names seemed to be encouraging the discussion in a respectable fashion. You guys should have a conference call and get on the same page about whats acceptable. The new staff often act on the mods behalfs, so when they engage in an off topic discussion the rest of us will think its ok.

I was at Target the other day, and the ONLY deluxe on the shelves was Vortex. Two of them. So I guess we're having the opposite problem.

I really dont think we should rely on HTS. They are a nice to have but I really dont think Hasbro considers it a primary outlet for people to get their toys.
