Could PREDATOR be a AUTOBOT?

I think he could because he did not let the girl die in AVP he saved her more than once,and he wont kill any one unless they have a gun and or they hurt him.Example in PREDATOR2 he did not kill the female cop because she was pregnan,and the little boy with the toy gun was innocent the gun was not a threat to him so my piont is made!!!!!

That's a tough one. Valid points in the second post. Predators by their nature hunt others, and prefer their prey to be able to fight. If I remember the cop from Predator 2 right, she was a fighter, but an innocent would have been harmed if he'd gone after her. As for the kid... as you said, he was just a kid with a toy gun. Being able to spare potential targets that should be spared doesn't mean he can be called an Autobot; just that there's a certain measure of honor to the hunt Predators take up. As I remember, Cybertron's Scourge was the same way, and he was a Decepticon.

Predators hunt their prey, for the glory of the hunt. They collect trophies from the fallen victims. They do not hesitate to kill an armed assailant, unless as mentioned before the assailant is pregnant.

As in Predator 2, we see the Predator take out an entire subway car full of people an Autobot would consider innocent, because the Predator deemed them a threat, because they were armed.

The Predator culture is one of honor, honor for the clan, honor for the hunt.

The reason the Predator in AVP did not kill the girl, was because she proved herself to the Predator as a hunter. As terrible a move as AvP was, they took that part right from the much, much better AvP comic.

Unless Optimus Prime start putting skulls of killed Decepticons in a trophy case aboard the Ark, then the Predator could never be consider an Autobot.

Yes, the Predator did kill everyone in the subway car, because they all had weapons, even though aside from the gang members we would consider them innocent people. The predator killed them because they were armed.

When they have the crime scene cordoned off, even the inspector says something along the lines of "he killed a bunch of innocent people."

An Autobot would not do this. If an Autobot sees a person with a gun, he wouldn't kill the person.

Had the little boy in the cemetery had a real gun. The Predator would have killed him too. But the Predator's helmet did some analysis on the gun and determined it was fake and the boy was therefore not a threat.

Predators go to a planet, to a specific area to find and kill the greatest champion.

In the first movie, that was Arnold, and that was the reason why the Predator killed off each of the other members starting from the weakest and moving on up.

In the second movie, the Predator did the exact same thing. He started off at the lowest possible denominator, the gang members, and worked his way up the chain until he got to Danny Glover, who was th best cop in L.A.

The Predator categorizes people into two categories. Prey, and waste of time. Basically honorable kill and dishonorable kill.

Anyone wielding a weapon, a weapon in the persons hand, is considered an honorable target. While it may not be the main focus of the Predators hunt. He will kill them.

Also, in Concrete Jungle, yes, you killed the people who stole the technology from the Predator, you didn't do this because they were badguys. You did that to regain your honor.

If you remember, there was a level where you did nothing but kill cops. But aren't cops the good guys? Why yes, yes they are.

They were in the way of the Predator and his goal, and they were going to kill him given the chance.

There is a huge difference between doing what is right in your eyes. And doing what is right.

Remember, Hitler thought what he was doing was right, in his eyes.

The Autobots kill only if it's absolutely necessary, in the case of life and death especially in a war, it's necessary.

The Predator kills for glory, not for what is right, but for honor to himself and to his clan.

The Autobots wouldn't kill innocent people who are holding a gun.

The Autobots try to avoid conflict.

The Predator engages in conflict for the hunt.

I'd further add that while the Predator's have a strong sense of honor they would not and could not be accepted in the Autobot millitary, not even as allies. However they'd most likely side more with the Decepticons. But in all liklihood they'd most likely just try to hunt them both down. Damn..... someone needs to make a Predator vs. Transformers comic book.

Lol ya they should but i dont think they r evil just misunderstood like sharks ,pitbulls loins,tigers and some tribes of Indians so maybe not an autobot or deceptacon but they may have some kindness to them all things do well not all humans maybe but evryone or thing does show kindness to someone ,family or friends.

Also, yes everyone makes mistakes. However, if you make mistakes because you rush something, well that just looks bad.

Now, on to the whole Predator thing.

Autobots don't look for vengeance. You don't see Rodimus Prime murdering the crap out of Galvatron because he killed Prime.

Also, they didn't show up to get rid of the pyramid. I don't know which ABC Family version of AvP you saw, but thats totally wrong.

The predators in AvP were unblooded hunters. They went to the pyramid to fight the aliens and therefore prove their right to become Blooded hunters.

Unblooded basically means they are young predators in training.

It was a right of manhood that they went on, to prove themselves, if they came back alive, they would become full hunters and no longer just trainees.

If they didn't come back, well, they would make sure they didn't come back.

That is why each Predator opts to self-destruct in times of a certain defeat.

They did not go to the planet in order to destroy the pyramid. They went there to take a test.

Yes, the Predator did not kill the woman because she gave him the plasma caster. This isn't because she was a good guy, this was because she wised up to why they were being hunted.

The Predators think of themselves and their clan before ANYONE else.

The Autobots think of themselves last.

No, helping a member of the clan is forbidden. It makes them look weak.

In Predator 2, how many other Predators were on the ship at the end? More than enough to help the main Predator, however, they did no such thing.

If the Predator loses the fight, then he loses the fight and can die with honor.

Helping him only makes the Predator look weak and shames him.

Because it was apart of atoning.

The reason why they were captured, was because the main Predator let his tech get captured.

So, you have to rescue those predators who were being experimented on to make up for your dishonor.

Not to mention, they were prisoners, they weren't in a fight, had they been fighting and the main predator was there, he wouldn't help.

As it's one thing to die with honor during a fight, then to get captured and experimented on, theres no honor in that.

See, there would really be no point in Megatron capturing a Predator. The Transformers are a lot more sophisticated technologically compared to the Predators, so there would be no point in Megatron actually keeping one alive.

However, if it happened, I doubt the Predators would go up to the Autobots and ask for an alliance, they opt to rescue him themselves. That is of course if they even knew he was captured. And if there was a reason to rescue the captured Predator.

Ok say just say megtron liked the Preds weapons and the autobots knew somthing was up so did the ohter Preds and the captured Pred was the ELDER of thear clan?

It's not impossible for a Predator to be an Autobot, but in general, not so much. In the general sense, it is more accurate to compare Predators to the Hirogen from Star Trek: Voyager. They live for the hunt. As sparing the pregnant cop demonstrates, they have some a of honor and morality, but it is far from what Autobots adhere to. They're not out to destroy the Universe and rebuild it in their own image, as Megatron is. They're out to kill their chosen prey and take what is often a piece of their remains as a trophy. That's like Scrapper (from the Classics Devastator set) building monuments to his fallen opponents out of their chassis. Is a Predator capable of being an Autobot? It is not impossible; it's just very much against their nature.
