Got Arcee and '09 bumblebee finally! I'm so happy with the both of them!

they also had a bunch of other wave 2's, but I didn't want to bother.

I found all of wave two including about half a dozen 08 Bumblebee's at the Kohl's in Elmhurst. Funny thing about it, I actually wasn't looking for Transformers when I found him.

EDIT: it was actually in Mt. Prospect on Elmhurst Rd (Rt. 83).

I got the last two at the local Kohl's in Md. Yeah, I bought two.

Finally got me an '09 BB. That was it though since their buy one get on 1/2 off sale's over.

Yeah now my kohls is flooded with them. I was there today and there was about 6 of them there. Still trying to find Dropkick tho.

after checking this thread I managed to go to kohls after work.

sure enough I found the last 08 Bumblebee they had, along with a Bonecrusher.

you know what i dont get. if 08 bumblebees are popping up at kohls, why arent they gone yet?

thank god for that.

May they (the scalpers) all fall out of business now that everyone is getting their bumblebee. May they all cry in their basement as they realise they've wasted their time being losers.

to bad kohls is running out fast, and since they are the only ones who got them,, the scalpers will be just fine till oct when the new stuff comes out, like the repaints.

think of it this way, every figure that has come out so far, has a 2nd version comming out. its not possible to shelf all the new ones and old ones.

they didnt even release 08 bumble bees in the main stores, yet the 2 pack will be out. either way there will be a shortage of figures this xmas all around.

All of them were gone by the time I got there today. Of course, it's been a week, so it's not surprising.

I just wish I wouldn't find an army of Swindles and Bonecrushers every time I miss BB. I am so damn sick of seeing those two I could puke.

Sounds like the party is over, the Kohls saga is comming to an end

....why'd you put life back into a necrotized thread such as this? Especially with this post? Other threads (or a new one) could've worked better for you.

But I'll give it a a go.

1.) Yes. We've heard about and seen the figures. The new molds are fantastic, the repaints are pretty much considered to be not necessary, and the packaging (at least in my opinion) is gaudy.

2.) The figures won't be out until 2008 (Hasbro themselves said this) so it'll be a few months until we see any sightings, even on eBay.

You'll know when we do.

I'm glad you got a Bumblebee, but if you treat other people like you just did me, then it's a miracle you got one. Kohl's should've kicked you out of the store for being a jerk.

*Ahem* I'm not sure what you mean my "decent" leader figures, but Megatron, Prime, and Brawl are currently on shelves, though the former two are rarer now. The only new leader figures I'm aware of are Night Watch Optimus Prime and Deep Desert Brawl, who aren't due out until early 2008 with the rest of the All-Spark figures.

I can't imagine them repainting Megs, and I doubt they'll make any more original molds for other characters in the movie.

Sometime in November they are suppost to be getting Wave 3 Variant 1, or something like that, the cases are suppost to come with a Leader Prime and Leader Brawl. Then early next year comes the Allspark Night Watch Prime and Desert Brawl cases (not sure exact date, but there is a thread on the opening page news about it). BigBadToyStore should have their expected dates. I emailed them to see if they could pin down when Prime was shipping again, but they couldn't be more specific (which I really didn't expect them to be, but I thought I would try).

At least you have leader figures! well they should be coming soon, but kohls is a clothing store not a toy store so don't expect too much...

And I realize that my post (in which you were responding) was a little obnoxious, but I only meant it in a humorous sense. My apologies for that.

As the others have said, November looks to be *the* restock for the figures. (all classes)

However, Hasbro (through EntertainmentEarth.com) said that they'll be re-releasing all the movie figures one more time before the end of the line so everyone has a chance to catch up. That will include Leader Class as well.

Decepticon Brawl*, Megatron, Optimus Prime, all will be re-released around Christmas time for one last hurrah.

*= that's what his packaging calls him. Toy Laws state that you can't copyright a single word like brawl as a name (or something like that. I know there's a law involved, so it's easier for all the toy companies to have their chance at a name.)

Nightwatch Optimus, and Deep Desert Brawl (such a stupid, stupid name) will both see release sometime January/February, under the Allspark Power line.

Yeah the Kohl's by me has 2008 Bumblebee along with Swindle, Arcee, Dreadwing and PAyload.

My mom works there so I get first dibs.
