Ironhide, Prowl, Sunstreaker and Sideswipe

VS

Thundercracker, Dirge, Soundwave and Rumble

How about for a Main Event.....

Jazz, Jetfire and Optimus Prime

Vs

Starscream, Shockwave and Megatron

as do I...

in the 1st match up the bots are just too effective from there ranks. Ironhide= tough old veteran, a younger Kup perhaps.
Prowl= the good guy's shockwave and second in command
Sunstreaker= the baddest bot off the ark
Sideswipe= the baddest bot off the ark - lite

Even given the probability of Thundercraker and Dirge working well together, Soundwave and Rumble make for an interesting, if not guaranteed, loss.

The second match would prove one sided unless jazz did a number on shockwave's logic circuits. Jetfire and Starscream could about even out, but Shockwave would waste the former Decepticon and Jazz would have trouble with Starscream.

Whoever wins between Prime and Megs would be in no condition to help there allies. Shockwave and Starscream would likely interfere for there benifit though so... Prime is toast either way.

With both these battles, mass shifting can be used to make an ambush. The Autobots can be lured into an area. Then Soundwave and Megatron, hidden in alt mode, can expand and shoot the Autobots without warning. Decepticons win.
