2013 Generations - did they show?

I know mention was made of about 40 new figures for Transformers: Generations to come in 2013 or so... but did they SHOW any prototypes, any pictures of prototypes, or even give some hints as to WHO? Will they run the gamut of mold sizes, or will they be Deluxe only?

Was there anything more than just "There will be about 40 Generations figures for 2013"?

They didn't show us anything, no concept drawings, no prototypes, no nuthin'. Nor did they mention if all 40 would be in the Deluxe class. Basically they just said they are planning over 40 Gen figures and that was it.

UGH. Any TF: Prime figures of any line I get would end up on the back shelves with the TF: Animated ones, it's the Generations style I'm looking forward to.

month and a half. out of 12 months. that's like 10% or something.

of course, yeah, there has been plenty of stuff announced that hasn't been released yet...or ever.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

Bot Con will likely offer details, but that's still some time away.

I'm more interested in whether or not they're ever going to release the 2011 figures that haven't come out yet.

Good call, like the RTS Voyagers that werent Seaspray and Long Haul. Never saw them in stores, and now, spectre-like, I haunt my local TJMax rattlin' my chains, hoping for a Lugnut or Strafe.

I managed to find those two but I know what you mean. I saw Lugnut twice. The first time I didn't pick up him (stupidly) and it was MONTHS before I saw him again. Grabbed him that time. Haven't seen head nor wing of him since. Only ever saw Strafe and Grapple once and I bought them the same time I did Lugnut. Regretting not picking up the second Grapple they had because I could have turned it into Ultra Mangus T.T Ah well.

You can get Strafe reasonably on Amazon. They have listing for $21.

Maybe some of the ones we were supposed to get in 2011 we'll get this year?
Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

Had an answer to go here, but then realized the OP was asking about 2013 Generations...so I got nothing. Maybe they actually held something back for BotCon.

I suspect we'll be seeing a lot of Concept Art at Botcon this year. I can't wait.

We now know that planning does not equal getting.

I think the number is so high because they're planning on releasing more than just FOC Bruticus from the combiners. Hopefully. This is pure speculation on my part, mind you.
