Kotaku has posted an article that gives fans a sneak peek into the upcoming Transfromers MMO: Transformers Universe. Click here to view the full article and additional screens shots over on Kotaku.

The game is played in browser, running only a small downloaded client
The game is set in the Transformers Prime universe, coinciding with the world set up in Transformers: Exodus
The game will be set on Earth with human elements, but robots will be the primary characters
Players will create and control their own Transformer, with iconic characters like Optimus Prime playing companion roles
The game will include player vs. player and player vs. environment third-person combat

meh, just knowing that its set in the prime universe puts me off but now theres humans involved so now i really dont care. Not a fan of browser based games anyway.

art work looks really cool
would be interesting if we got toys of some of these
an "art" book of the work put into the game would be pretty interesting as well

That looks really nice considering it's a browser-based game. I'll probably have to give it a shot. I kind of like the female models, even though I was kind of thinking about playing a male character (though I'm female), so I'm not sure which gender I'd play as...
