O.k. since sixshot will be on the way soon. I have question like so many reissue of the larger size is he both metal and plastic or just plastic? The thing that just happened is I finally remember were I first saw him and why I thought he was so cool it was during the 3 part rebirth series final and he took most of the autobots by himself.

mine is the original one, i don't see any metal, but he's a super TF to play with

Sixshot has no metal whatsoever. The "metal parts to plastic parts" transition was complete by the time he was released.

Wait he's getting a reissue?!
Some Questions:
Is this one that will be in stores or online only?
Will he be available in the UK?
How much will a reissue of this size cost? (He would be my first reissue if I get him)
When is he due to be released?

he was reissued around 4 years ago, chances are he'll appear again in the encore line, well i hope so!!

I wasn't much interested in transformers back then. That was my early-teenage phase where I ignored my fandom to "fit in" with everyone else.
Ok, I'll watch out for him in the encore line.

He is pretty expensive, his reissue can demand as much as a vintage one.

Easily breaks the $100 mark everytime. G1 6 changer though, can beat the value even at $120

You mean you didn't get to see Sixshot in the Headmasters series? You never got to meet "Uncle Sixshot" then!! LOL

I can tell you the sad story so you don't have to waste your time watching 35 mostly dreadful episodes and see Sixshot deteriorate from bad-ass to wimp before your eyes.

OK you asked for it. SPOILERS BELOW.

Sixshot was pretty much(at the beginning) this huge badass. Ruthless as hell even looking to overthrow Galvatron and Lord Zarak.

He killed autobots without a care in the world. He killed Ultra Magnus in cold blood and laughed about it!!
He brutally murdered Chromedomes best friend by implanting a freaking BOMB inside of him. RUTHLESS right?

This is where the story gets bad. Late in the series Sixshot gets marooned on a planet with........................................DANIEL WITWICKY!!
He starts caring even over-caring for the kid. Sixshot befriends him like a freaking father!! (keep in mind Daniel is 1000 times more annoying in headmasters than ever before) Daniel starts calling him UNCLE SIXSHOT!! and Sixshot LIKES IT!!!!
In fact, he devotes himself to protecting the kid!! That is an unforgivable crime in itself!!
Watch as Sixshot deteriorates into a complete and utter wimp before your eyes. Sixshot can't even fight with Chromedome(his sworn arch-enemy) after this and all but JOINS the Autobots by the end of the series!!!!

He didn't join the Autobots.... He saved Daniel from death but never joined. I'd say it was more like the Blitzwing situation from Season 3.

I said he all BUT joined the autobots dude, I wasn't saying he actually joined them. He was shooting at decepticons at the end to protect Daniel's sorry ass.

I really don't understand it myself. I liked Sixshots character up until that point in the series. It seemed like him and Lord Zarak would be going at it for sure over the Decepticon leadership title. Then BAM! uncle sixshot?

Dialog like this became the norm:
Sixshot: "make sure you eat your food Daniel. Its very important for survival here"
Daniel: "OK Uncle Sixshot"

Oh dear god make it stop. I'm really glad I never got a hold of the import version of the headmasters series. At least I can hang on to my memory of him from rebirth and not have to think about him as daniel's lap dog. If was writing the show I would have lined up both daniel and wheelie and shot them in the same episode.
