After devastation?
- Weapon: Null-Ray Rifle
So what do you all think is going to happen after IDW finishes devastation? I mean are they going to continue on with more G1 stuff? sure, spotlights are fine and dandy, and the beast wars series are great, but I dont know how they are going to continue on with G1 stuff unless theres another alternate reality or something. It also bums me out that some of the best G1 characters (in my opinion) are dead, or at least out of the pictures, like starscream.

But at least Starscream is slated to come back in Devastation?

Devastation is going to run as a six issue arc like Infiltration and Escalation before it. As Hotrod said next year's arc is called Revelation and this is probably where the Dead Universe plot threads are going to pay off. So far we've had a four issue arc set somewhere in the main continuity put out between each six issue arc, Stormbringer and Megatron Origin. While there's nothing along these lines that has been announced for next summer as yet it's a fair assumption that this trend will continue. With these extra arcs and the Spotlights we're getting more than 12 issues a year that add to the overall IDWverse, and some people still manage to complain that it's not an ongoing. While nothing's been confirmed beyond Revelation just yet the main reason for that is that it's still over a year away. IDW seem to be doing very well with the TF license, especially compared to the mess that Dreamwave were in towards the end. I don't think you need to worry about this continuity coming to a premature end anytime soon. And yes Starscream's due back in Devastation, he's not dead but he has been in need of some serious CR time.

Well, that's the best about this series, you absolutely don't know what's going to happen next.

Yes, Outback will be missed

Anywho, there's still hope for Starscream, Megatron didn't target his spark while he blasted him.

I doubt that we will be seeing a Marvel style "Underbase" Saga anytime soon in the IDW Furmanverse.
With all the characters that Furman has not even touched upon, the possibilities are near endless for where this can go after Devastation. I agree with Waaaaghlord in relation to Revelation focusing on the events that have transpired in the Nightbeat and Galvatron Spotlights.
Depending on what exactly happens during Devastation that interests me, there are half a dozen or more different story threads that seem to be coming together...
