I don't think they were associated with any faction. I think it's more along the lines of "What? Where am I? WHO am I? WHAT ARE THOSE? AAAAAAAAHHH!!" *fires missiles*

They are like frightened newborns... with missiles & guns & stuff.

Weren't the Dinobots going crazy, attacking everything, when they were first created in the original series? I can't remember...

Also, the Allspark's container did not have enough mass to reconstruct Bumblebee's legs.

Thanks for bringing that too my attention. Having the mass of the Allspark box decrease links to the original G1 concept of sub-pocket dimensions, which is the overall explanation to both mass-shifting and weapon/trailer disappearance. So, why then did Bay say he was not going to do either of those things and didn't do them, but at the same time did something that functions from the same central principle of TF technology/mythos?

Why would the bulk of the container go to some pocket dimension?

It could have been teleported to the Earth's mantle. (Note that it takes less energy to teleport to a lower elevation than a higher elevation.)

I thought the thing just "shrank" to a smaller size. Do you mean that there is still a large chunk of All-Spark hidden away somewhere? The All-Spark can regenerate too? Huh? This is interesting, but a little confusing at the same time.

1. I think that the Allspark piece ripped from the charred Megatron Chest was enough to use in the creation of the Matrix, which will be added to Optimus Prime's own Spark residing in his chest.
Thus we may see an upgraded optimus prime in the sequel complete with Matrix. which brings about other plot points.

Possible plot point 1:
The Matrix can be used to direct energy and combining it with a Faction's spark can create new warriors and life for either Autobot and Decepticon. The fact that any Allspark energy used to create life from Earth objects caused them to go crazy was because it was raw and untamed power.

Possible plot point 2:
Also megatron's return, and upgrade due to the massive charge of the Allspark energy could have caused himn to go into stasis lock, in which case his "regenerating/Living" Metal body could be reformatted, and apon his return calling himself Galvatron. Thus his search for the "Matrix" will echo that of the 1986 Transformers cartoon Movie.

Possible Plot Point 3:
The Great Power that has now been encased in the "Matrix" which is the physical housing for what's left of the Allspark can if used, revive and also bring in new comrades for the fight on Earth.

Possible Plot Point 4:

Star Screams escape and the destruction of the Allspark could coincide with the Unicron's awakening, in which since the Allspark was severly damaged, he doesn't detect it in its new housing, the "Matrix" and makes his way twards earth.

These are just some possible things I was thinking about post Movie.

Sounds like you're getting your hopes up.

I thought Prime taking the piece of the all spark was a "Well there goes the last hope for recreating our entire civilisation" thing. When he closed his fist around it it was like clutching at the remains of what can no longer be done. I saw it as a loss thing not a "this may be useful in the future " thing.

I believe this is true because when you look at prime at hs final scene at the end of the movie he has a belly now, the front end of the truck is now covering whe the engine was shown.....he made the matrix from the remaining piece!

I think the next movie plot will be intergrated with the constructicons in how they are like the top science/medical/construction team on cybertron and that they know how to bring megas back to life, and with doin that they also are able to regenerate the all spark by doin so, and starscream see this as a way to get his hand on the all spark and takes them too earth. And when it comes time the only ones who have ever been able to defeat the con's would be the dinobots (named something else until they take their dino forms) and somehow they get to earth some how

....thats how I see the next movie

Yeah we all know this is wishful thinking, so It's all good... we just need to keep a good look out as to what leaks we can recieve over the next few years. I gotta say though, I completely enjoyed the movie and felt it was very much G-1

Well, i'm not always Negative, Am I?? , I tell you what, I will make a substantial effort to be more up beat and positive. I was negative about this Movie from the beginning, but I'm very happy with the result. Except jazz's Death, I liked him.

Was it me or did the scene in which the Autobots were reading the Glasses and talking about Bumblebee's capture, when they were all hanging out, remind you of G-1 when they were about to assault Sherman Damn?? I wish I could get a poster of all them hanging out in that scene..
