Very simple mod actually. All you need is a hobby knife, and a jewelers file to round off the edges when you're done.

Just look at the black plastic arm that the trunk section swings on. Remove red plastic material from where that black arm contacts the red plastic, so that there is more clearance to fold it closer to his back when fully transformed into bot mode. Hook the wheel wells over the back of his shoulders ... turn his head around, rotate the waist 180 degrees. Done!

Just keep the cut clean and pro looking. If you don't ... oh well, nobody will see it in either mode.
