An abundance of Frenzy & Laserbeak 2-packs?

Postby Supreme Convoy » Fri Nov 23, 2007 2:44 am

:BOT: I went to a local toy show and at every booth, dealers were selling TONS of Frenzy & Laserbeak 2-packs. And each pack seemed to be in near mint or mint condition. They usually go for $30-$40.

Did they recently release reissues? :CON:

Knock-offs.

Some of the very early ones in fact.

:BOT: I didn't get a good look at them. But it was enough to convince a few people to think they're real and pay for them. I don't think the dealers even acknowledge or know if they were KO's. :CON:

WOW!! For 30-40$ I hope they were real!

Here is a pic of the ko version.

As far as I know there has not been a reissue of these except for the ko ones. They have also done ravage, ratbat, rumble, buzzsaw, and different colours for the frenzy and lazerbeak. Some of them actually do contain diecast parts aswell.

The esiest way IMO to tell the difference is by looking at the weapons. The Ko weapons are much more "crisp" and clean cut. The original molds were much more used to the point where the weapons were almost rounded and dull.

As for quality, they are not perfect, but they as worth at least 20$. The stickers are terrible, but the stickers on the original ones were not much better. The plastic is pretty good. It wont fall apart in your hands, buy sometimes some of the figs can be a bit loose. I love the ravage! His legs are all diecast and the silver looks soo good with the black plastic!
