Whatever.

I don't know a single importer who doesn't put a 50-100% markup on anything Transformers related.

Then you've never met me. I was selling these at the TRU retail cost of 65 plus whatever the buyer's choice of shipping was.

Retail was 9,800 yen. TRU retail was 7,999 yen. At the time the conversion rate from USD to yen was quite favorable to US buyers.

I have mine posed with the canon on, but I have it pointed straight up to keep the weight centered on the legs. Not only that he is posed that way on the top self. I guess I like to live dangerously. Actually now it's kind of making me nervous.

If they had used metal where the shoulder-screw screws into, it wouldn't have been quite so flimsy, but no, they had to use that cheap cheap plastic.

Let me reiterate the word cheap.

The screw on mine stripped out completely and is now quite permanently attached with glue. No longer an action figure...more of a statue now lol.

Mine's posed basically how he looks on the original G1 picture from the front of his box, with the elbow bent and fusion cannon pointing straight out.

I did do the "leg transform mod" where you push the upper legs into the lower grips about 1/4 of the way, and flip the tops of his feet so they are touching the bottoms of the legs/grips.

Sturdy as H-E Double Hockey Stick AND it helps with some of the proportion issues, so he doesn't appear quite as scrawny.

Can...can I have your Megatron? I want it bad.

I doubt you'd agree, so how about some more pictures?

I'll try to get a shot of the alt mode soon. :)

I haven't tried selling on ebay yet. I'll try to read the instructions of ebay.

Should we start waiting for the later production runs on the MP figures?

On the Megs QC note; my Meg's crotch has become loose. The plastic tabs attached to the bar that attaches to his legs has bent inwards a fraction and now it's gone all loose-y goose-y. His torso falls backwards...
Don't know if I should put something between them to make them straight or just keep leaning him against that wall.

Oh slag.. the imagery that just went though my slaggin mind... I am dying here in a fit of giggles.

Heh. Reminds me of Jeff Dunham's dummy, Walter.

"A Swatch? Good thing they weren't in Croatia. "Sorry I'm late, my Crotch is running a little sloooow." "Lemme look at my Crotch..." "

...hehe.
