Any Energon Recommendations?
I have some Autobot Energon figures now, and am wondering what are some good Decepticon figures from that line? I'm looking for Deluxe class size, and no more than the top 5, and are cheap (decent price) to get off ebay. I don't want too many as I am more interesting in saving for the new Classics/Universe, Animated, and Encore figures. Thanks.

Starscream, Sharkticon, Battle Ravage (or any repaint of him), Dive-bomb and Shockblast and if you have the cash any of the five figure combiners.

Shockblast isn't a deluxe his a voyager.
Well the deceptcon's in energon were mostly voyager and up. but there are a few smaller decepticons you may like.
Onslaught/ Barricade, is great by himself. Doesn't really need the rest of his team to warrant a purchase. Although the combination ability is an added bonus.
Sharkticon is pretty nice. very articulate.
and While technically a scout Blackout/Blastoff is a really nice figure with a very nice looking Decepticon purple deco.
Starscream if you like his plane mode is pretty good.
There aren't that many more deluxe figures I could recommend. Decepticons in that line for the most part came in the bigger sizes.

Snowcat, if you're into the GI Joe crossover idea (his alt mode replicates a classic GI JOE Snow Cat vehicle) The figure itself isn't too shabby either.

YEP, however if your going through the auctions, look for lots, you can probably score everything in bulk with a Scorponok(that guy is friggin awesome)!

I didn't know this, so I suppose any Voyager too. As long as they are not too much larger than Downshift and Rodimus.

Dump truck Demolisher, Snowcat, Slugslinger(still 1 of d trickiest2transform imho), Energon Hotshot, Rodimus, Towline(goes wicked with Prowl as the bottom), Inferno(wicked fig). If u still don't have Shockblast & Tidalwave, u may be missing out.
Energon Still Rocks.

Re: Any Energon Recommendations?
Since you want Deluxe Decepticon figures, it cuts down on the number of the more fun larger Decepticons, like Scorponok, Shockwave and Tidal Wave...
I'd suggest nabbing Snowcat, Sharkticon, Demolisher (Dump Truck), Barricade and Starscream (but finding a cheap Starscream may be a challenge).
The Terrorcons are basic size, but well worth a look at, as are the Bruticus Maximus Limbs.
Have fun hunting them all down.

Superlink MegaZarak (Scorponok) has a better more show accurate paint scheme.
Superlink Laserwave (Shockblast) is another good one.
Energon Megatron is better and larger than the Superlink version, so go with energon.
As for the whole toy line, it was a step up from Armada/Micron Legend, with the fact that you could attach mini-cons to them as well.
I liked the line alot better than Cybertron/Galaxy Force.

I don't think that's right...
I know it has a nicer color scheme, but I think the US release was actually more accurate.

I have had this discussion before. The Superlink version is closer to the actual show.
Here's a pic, coz I have both of them.

Re: Any Energon Recommendations?
I'm not worried about having show accurate colors since I could not tolerate watching TF Energon for more than a few episodes. Voyagers are fine. So far I have Energon Rodimus, and am looking for Downshift. Stil trying to decide on Dark colors SS, or G1 Colors. I'm thinking the dark colors seems to look better. Considering Demolisher, Sharkticon, Scorponok, and Shockblast so far, as well as Battle Ravage and Divebomb. I like the Voyager size Megatron too...

I prefer the darker Starscream to the G1 version. They are both nice, but darker is better. Added bonus: Huge frikkin' sword!
Welcome to Energon!
Sharkticon is very nifty, and he stands out due to his shark-shaped battle-submarine alt form. Very articulated, with great detail, cool head sculpt. A lot people complained about the colors, I don't mind them, but the mold is so good he deserves a repaint, or two.
Barricade is indeed kickass just by himself.
Slugslinger is flawed but still cool. His transformation is complex and his articulation is decent. He feels a little flimsy in alt-mode, and his hyper-mode is a joke. But, he remains a passable homage to his G1 Targetmaster character.
Also Battle Ravage, Divebomb, Blight, Blackout, and Bonecrusher are some of the best Basic-sized TFs out there.

I believe the Energon version is more show accurate.
http://www.veoh.com/videos/v755048JahH5mYs?c=ransformersenergon
In this video at 10:44 you can clearly see Scorponok with orange parts, which thus makes the Energon more show accurate, but I'd like to hear why you think the superlink is.
But as per the author of the thread, show accuracy is not an issue anyway.
I believe the author clearly asked for deluxe figures anyway, but too many of you are listing larger...
Deluxe Cons to get: Starscream (G1 colors), Snowcat, Slugslinger, and Sharkticon.
The Basics to get if you want smaller would have to be Divebomb, Insecticon, Blackout, Kickback, and Sledge.

Honestly, you can't go wrong with Nekoman's suggestion. Those are probably the best decepticons in the line. I have all that he listed (aside from Shockblast...I'm waiting to find him for a decent price on Ebay). Energon Sharkticon was the biggest surprise of them all...he's a REALLY good figure, and one of the few "boat-formers".

Re: Any Energon Recommendations?
For deluxe Decepticons, I'd reccomend Starscream, Slugslinger and Demolisher(not the repaint, not that it's not a bad figure). If you want to go into voayger class though, I personally like Shockblast and Mirage. Mirage is a bit of a challange to transform, but looks awesome.

Very cool figure. If you can you might consider Quickstrike, the repaint, in what I think is a better color scheme.

Agreed, Quickstrike looks better. Don;t know why but the red color scheme is leagues better than the white and green. Still both figures are really nice, come with their transformable thruster pack, but they are Autobots not Decepticons.

Quickstrike may have a flashier, more Autobot-looking paintjob, but Bulkhead is a G1 Springer homage. I bought him over Quickstrike just for that reason. And I don't mind green.

Re: Any Energon Recommendations?
Optimus Prime.
Never understood all the hate toward the toy. I got the faceplate version of him, and I love him. People say they hate him because he is fat. He is only fat in his normal robot mode, which even still it doesn't bother me. Also people say he is a Megazord ripoff. I can't argue with this, but I can say that that doesn't bother me either.
Also, Megatron, Omega Supreme, Rodimus, Starscream, Skyblast, Ravage, Shockblast, Prowl, Wing Saber (only for the Optimus upgrade, the figure itself is a brick), and finally the Dinobots.
