same here,I saw this thread on wednesday night. I used the Target mobile $5 off coupon & the hasbro's manufactor $5 off coupon. I wound up paying ZERO. The cashier put the item in the bag,gave me the receipt & I paid nothing. I did this twice & got two free DOTM deluxes. I got thundercrcker & Ratchet. I wanted starscream & barricade but they weren't stocked on the pegs. guess their waves are too old.

I'm up to at least 20 deluxes and about 10 CV free. I used the coupons to get the megatron CV truck and trailer set for $2.99. I really like the set. Blows the prime one out of the water.

If anyone happens on a Megatron voyager and could purchase it for me at a reduced price I'd be elated. He disappeared a long time ago here. I'd pay you back Paypal.

Going to clean out the rest of the Targets in St Pete and Tampa today.

Bringing a friend to expedite the process!!!

Hopefully this leads to some Wave 5 stuff soon which I will exchange the crappy leftover figures for.

Do you have to have a smart phone to get the mobile coupon to work? Even though today is the last day they've taken it down from the site and I just found out about this last night. I took the print out from the link above to the store but it says they have to scan the code in your phone. they only have bumblebee, but still, free is free.

Do you guys cleaning out the stores plan to offer any deals on possibly reselling the figures here, like for maybe 2 or 3 dollars lol?

I just scored another 32 figures for $11.20. Gave 7 to my buddy who was with me.

Wiped out 2 Target's total.

I only have about 20 coupons left!

Just got Walmart to price match the mobile coupon and take the manufacturer coupon to score a Skyhammer for $5!

Print out the mobile coupon and take it to walmart along with a manufacturer coupon and insist they match it. If they hassle you have them look over their coupon matching policy which states they must match online coupons.

I didn't get free deluxes but I did get 14 deluxes for $3.17 a piece after sales tax. I had 14 $5 off manufacturer coupons, two $5 off coupons from Toys R Us, a $10 off TRU coupon if you spent more than $75 (before coupons), and TRU has a BOGO 50% off sale on deluxes that ends today.

The TRU coupons come in the mail on a monthly basis if you're a TRU Rewards member, or at least they do for me for as much money as I spend at TRU on a monthly basis.

$90 in coupon savings plus $38.50 in savings for the BOGO 50% off deal on 7 of them. That's a pretty damn good deal.

Just depends on what stores you go to. I just cleared out 14 deluxes at a TRU near me this evening for $3.17 each. Not free, but certainly a good deal still. Ended up with 4 Starscreams, 2 regular Bumblebees, 3 Ratchets, 1 Crankcase, 2 Skids, and 2 Mudflaps. Not a bad assortment.

Well, my free ride came to an end. Just left a Target that would not give me the mobile coupon more than one time. Last free transformer is a Wrecker. Only fitting.

That's so weird how some would do it and some would not. At the stores where they would do it, does the computer ring it up properly or do they have to do a manual over-ride for it?

The mobile coupon is only supposed to be good one time, so unless you have access to multiple cell phones or can sweet talk the employee to do an override, it's only good once.

That has been my experience as well. The computer would only ring it up once. when they tried ringing it up a second time, it wouldn't let them do it. I have been able to use the same coupon at different Targets oddly. I'm assuming their computer system doesn't check to see if it's been used at another store or not.

I went to one target today and the mobile coupon worked for at least 20-30 deluxe figures. The 2nd had to over ride it and the third I only got that one. Yesterday and two days ago the mobile coupon worked just fine at those other two Target stores.

To be quite honest I paid ZERO for both.

It's just not worth both of our exspenses. to have to pay shipping fees. I'd have to pay $8 in shipping fees to get your starscream. and you'd have to pay $8 in shipping fees to get my thundercracker. the only real winner her would be the post office as they'd pocket 16 in total shipping fees from the both of us.

Here's an awesome idea. For those that got tons of free deluxe figures and only got them because they were free (meaning you have no interest in the dotm figures), it would be cool to donate those figures to Toys for Tots or a similar organization.

I rather you sell them away/ trade in exchange for simpler toys like hot wheels/ tonka trucks/ fisher price vehichles, THEN donate it to toys for tots. The kids probably end up braking every TF and end up with less fun.

I also for see Hasbro recalling deluxe starscream and darksteel after this incident due to kids stabbing themselves.

1 coupon on October 2nd and another on October 8th.

When I used the October 2nd one it scanned over 100 times giving me over 100 free figures. The October 8th scanned once and had a disclaimer underneath that stated it was used on October 8th

I had no issues and only a few times I had them override the coupon due to scanners not picking up the scan bar.

I even made a video of when I was going through the line and it scanning multiple times.


Not to sound shady or anything but returned 7 figures yesterday for $75 in credit at Walmart. Picked up 3 Lazerbeak , 3 Barricade , Generations Cliffjumper , DOTM Voyager Megatron , Mudflap , Walmart Deluxe Optimus and I still have $12.48 left on the card which I am going to use on 2 Walmart Sideswipes LOL. Trading crap for crap is a WIN/WIN!

Despite the name, Toys for Tots collects toys for kids of all ages. Even for the kids ages 5+ that these toys are designed for. So it would be awesome to share the joy of Transformers to needy kids this holiday season.

So I have no idea why this didn't cross my mind before. I returned 4 deluxes at $11.99 each at Target for enough credit to get a Leader Sentinel. I have hit the return limit on my license for the year at Target now. If I want to return more I'll go to Walmart. I might have to do this and pick up a Leader Ironhide.

i agree wholeheartedly. was at tru the other day and picked up a bunch of gi joe vehicles (night raven for 6$) and figures for cheap and those coupons i handed out to random people looking for tf's.

Returned 7 figures by accident. Was trying to do a exchange and ended up with store credit because the cashier insisted.

I then went and got 3 barricades , 3 Lazerbeak , Generations Cliffjumper , Walmart DOTM Deluxe Optimus , DOTM Voyager Megatron , Mudflap , and have $12.48 left which I will use to pick up a Walmart Sideswipe and Walmart Rally Bumblebee tomorrow with LOL.
