Hey all,

I was wondering... What would be the average prices for the Armada seekers? I'va always liked the seekers, but Armada i think had their best mold. What's an average price?

Not a vast amount, if you can find em. Best bet is to hunt em down on ebay.

The armada seekers are hardly the best representation of the seekers. They not only suffer from articulation problems, but from proportional ones as well.

The Armada Seekers aren't totally bad. The Mold is pretty good, but it is really stiff: No leg articulation, and veru limited amr articulation. Add to that the huge backpack, and you get a very limited figure. Although the plane mode looks good. And Robot mode isn't bad.It still had the potential to be so much more.

It also comes as a surprise that it is that stiff, when the preceding line (R.I.D.) had figures like Fire Convoy, with 20 or 30 meaningful points of articulation.

I love Armada and especially the Armada Seekers. Don't worry! You're not alone! I paid about $40 for both Skywarp and Thundercracker. I think I paid almost $40 for Starscream by himself, but I REALLY wanted that guy.

Im not a masive fan of a lot of armada figures, but like everyline it has a few gems, and the Seekers are amongst them (along with (going off of my own collection) demolisher, sideways, blurr and wheeljack).

I agree that articulation is not the be all end all for Transformers. Even if you are the type of collector that holds articulation in high regard, the Armada seekers will make your collection look far better than it would without them.

For me the Armada seekers are the best looking seekers ever made, sure if they were as articulated as the Classics molds, they would be amongst the best Transformers figures ever made. I own all three (thundercracker and Starscream are Micron Legend) and they are just brilliant looking.

As far as purchasing them, you'd be lucky by retail methods. bigbadtoystore.com have Micron Legend Thundercracker in stock ($37.99 a bit pricey), as for the other two or a cheaper Thundercracker, ebay is your best bet i'm afraid.

I liked the armada seekers as well. I actually need to hunt down a Universe Ramjet and the Sam's Club set for the dark colored Starscream or as I call him Thrust.

I really can not wait until I can get all my stuff out of storage.

I adore the designs of the Armada seekers. It was the first time (excluding the Tetrajet from the pilot) that I had seen them as anything but an F-15. And the way the wing detaches to become a sword is really cool, though I would have preferred both wings to have that feature so they could dual wield their weapons.

The prices I've seen on eBay tend to fluctuate a lot though. From getting all three at a premium of $180 to getting a single loose figure for as little as $10.
