So I got this guy today MISB for what I feel is reasonable. I know nothing about him though. Was he important in the show? Why is the figure fairly sought after? I'd really appreciate as much info on him as I can get. The same can be said for Survive and Heinrad. I'd like to hear their stories too.

Nobody can tell me anything about these guys?

From what I was told, he wasn't anybody special in the show just another soldier. He is sought after because he's a penguin. That's why I bought him and Dead End the nautilator. How could I pass up a transforming molusk? It wasn't spamming it's the truth. Why did you buy it? Because it was a penguin or because everyone else seemed to have and you didn't know why?

He also has some kind of cannon mode where he fires a missle out of him ass. Who needs character development when you have an ass cannon?

I bought him because he seemed alright for the price. I also knew that if I didn't care for him, that he's wanted enough to be able to get rid of him easily. I WAS joking with the spam comment hence the smiley. Don't take offense.

I bought him for the same reason as zodconvoy. A penguin and a molusk, altmodes unheard of. Neither of the toys are very good, but hell, they are unique.

The only reason he is sought after in the states is because he and the rest of the BW Neo line weren't released here. As a figure, he is a perfect example of a shellformer (but a pretty articulated one though). Recommended if you like penguins, BW, and unusual animal forms that weren't available in the US. Heinlad is a Tanuki raccoon, a mythical beast in Japanese folklore and the toy is basically a raccoon with a working clock in its stomach and Survive is a straight repaint of Polar Claw.

Thanks for the info. I do own Survive and Heinlad and knew those bits of info but I was curious about their roles in the fiction. I did use the link posted here for that Teletraan database. It's sorta bare bones but it helped me a bit.

tfu.info does have their biographies translated but that is about all I know about this line. I wish TV Nihon would translate/subtitle the toon...
