Almost looks like one of the TF Jumpstarters - the ones that supposedly transformed on their own, when in reality they just had a spring-loaded gimmick that flipped them up.

Otherwise it's had to say. Does it have a company name or year printed on it? Any accessories?

I'm gonna say it's a "Starriors" figure, put out by Tomy in the 80's, but I am sure someone else will have more info!

It just says "Tomy, Japan." No year, and no accessories.

I don't really have much info to add, but I have a toy that looks just like that. The only difference is mine has a gray body, red legs, and black arms and head. I also have another toy that looks like it is from the same line, it turns in to a yellow/black/red boat type thing. They are both only marked Tomy Japan as well. I'm glad you made this post though because I forgot I had these things and they are quite fun to transform.
