If you are interested in joining the RPG then I recommend taking a look at the links in my sig. That should give you some info on the history for the current game and the rules. After that you can take a peek at some of the current threads in the game to get kind of a feel for things and apply for a character. Just let me know if you need any help.

We don't really use character sheets. The RPG here is basically all on the boards and done online. Its not really like a tabletop RPG, its more of a cooperative fan fiction, sort of. Its hard to explain. The best way to figure it out is to check out some of the threads we have going on now. We do have character profiles that are outlined in the rules. You can find those in the forums below this, the character profile ones. I hope that helps.

I don't mind if you use them in some private game with your friends, but if you use them in something bigger, your own messageboard or something, then I would object.

I'd like to second this suggestion. I'd love to see a full set of all 6 of the seekers hanging out together on Earth. I wouldn't mind seeing some other Decepticons in general in the game. With the Stunticons, Combaticons, several Constructicons and Predacons still available there are LOTS of good characters available, and thats just barely scratching the surface. If anyone wants help I'm always more than willing to provide it. I do have the More Than Meets the Eye profiles by Dreamwave for pretty much every G1 character that I can share to help people out.

This is a bit of an official announcement here. As you've probably noticed we've had a few players kind of disappear on us. Tasbirk has been gone for awhile but I do know he is going through some pretty major stuff in real life. Nothing serious or even bad mind you, but stuff that would certainly take priority over the game. Until we hear from him Ultra Magnus is going to kind of fade off into the shadows. Kup will become the new commander of the Autobots on Cybertron for now.

That brings us to the other big absence. Ember is also dealing with some real life stuff that is keeping her busy and away from the game. As with Tasbirk this stuff isn't bad or anything, but it is enough to keep her from posting for now. Until she can come back her characters are mostly going to kind of fade into the shadows. There will be some NPCing with Prime and I will be actively playing Kup to keep things going on Cybertron.

These absences also mean a bit of a shift in some storyline ideas we had coming up. We will get back to these storylines at some point, with luck, but with the absences we felt it was better to shift things around.

Ultimately everything is going well. This is just another little bump in the road and we are navigating around it now. Keep on posting and keep on having fun!

Yeah I dont plan on starting a new site. I respect this one too much. But for now its off to working on my character!

If I may make a suggestion. Since Blaster's ship crashed in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico, and I assume it sank, perhaps someone should NPC Broadside so the Autobots have something to stand on out there. His aircraft carrier mode should be large enough. Unless, of course, the idea was to bounce to the bottom of the gulf and have everything take place there. In which case, nevermind.

Would it be ok for my character Hailfire for his special ability to be able to make clones of himself that can easily be destroyed?

He could use a holomater generator and make holograms of himself, but he can't make clones.

I was wondering about this sort of thing too.

I think we are fine just having an underwater battle. They don't really need to breathe and the pressure isn't going to be enough to hurt them. Everyone will move a bit slower and weapon ranges will be reduced though.

Bringing in Broadside presents a couple of problems. The biggest one being trying to hide an entire aircraft carrier appearing in the Gulf from the humans. The other problem would be the gigantic target he presents for the Decepticons. I can't imagine him lasting long against repeated strafing runs.

Fighting underwater will make things a bit more close up and personal. It will also add a little bit of a twist to the fight to keep things fresh. I think everyone will be able to enjoy it as a change of pace.

The battle immediately made me think of the time the Autobots showed up with skis instead of wheels in their alt modes. I was kinda hoping for that even though it doesn't make much sense.

LOL. I had forgotten about that one... I was thinking of the one where Brawn grew the drill attachment, and the Autobots tunneled underground and came up on the seafloor beside the Nemesis.
