I had just gotten the original ultra magnus toy that had the white prime with it. I remember being so glad to have a set of hands for my prime as the hands for my original red Prime were long gone.
I had recently seen the return of prime toon where he is coated with the alloy that turnes him white and I was sure that was why they made the new toy white.(I know better now) Any way, a favorite theme for me to act out durring my play time was to mimic the transformers animated movie and throw in pieces of "the return of prime" and the epp where prime was a zombie. I would have a war, prime and megs would die, galv would be born, autobots having gotten owned by Galv and co would resurect prime after traveling to the autograve yard and prime owns the previously invincible galvatron.
So, I had always used an upside down shoe box to place my prime figure on top of and that would be his burial chamber. One day I got the bright idea to put this box with prime on it into the microwave. My idea was that when I turned on the microwave it would light up, prime would rotate a few times, my other figures, stratigically placed facing the microwave would look as if they were viewing the body through the plastic and that would be an awsome burial chamber. I was aware that if I kept him in to long he would most likely take dammage, so I thought two or three revolutions and he would be removed by the autobots and revived.
So, I set up my autobots arount the ol microwave like they were lookinbg at primes burial chamber and prime goes in with the shoe box. Now remember that although the white prime was newer and mostly plastic, he still had a metal chest piece. So when I turned on the microwave to simulate the turning burial chamber I saw electric blue waves surround the metal piece on primes chest. For an instant I thought "whooooa!! AWESOME!!!" But then the thought of a bran new blown up prime and a matching blown up micro wave scared me into turning off the micro wave shy of my three revolutions. I continued to play however pretending that the blue energy waves brought prime back to life.
Incidentaly, I got up the nerve to try it one more time a few days or so later and for whatever reason, no blue waves. That was the last time I used my microwave for the autobot moseluem.
Thats it. Just thought Id share that.
I wanna hear some of you other members stories about play time. Did anyone else stage elaborate battle grounds and act uot carefully planned storylines? What were some of your best? Lets hear em guys n gals!!!
