Classics Prime... any good?
Yeah, I just bought him on impulse from HTS... but I have no idea whether he's good or not. I figure if you say he's not good, I'll keep him MISB, but if you say he's good (like I've heard), then I'll put him on display (like I wanted to).
I'm just worried that the thing on the top of the truck interferes with the figure's look.

Depends...if you mean the "Deluxe" class that comes in teh two pack I can unilaterally say "stay away". Megatron is the nicer character but honestly, they're both a disaster. If you mean the Voyager packed by himself, I unilaterally say "YES!" because he's totally awesome.
The wind vein on top of the Voyager folds into a gun, and a pretty nice one at that. Doesn't bother the truck look IMO. The truck looks kinda dumb without because then, like his Deluxe brother, the head is visible from above, which is really friggin dopey.

I like both of them. The Deluxe has a wonderful robot mode, VERY G1, and the voyager is just good.

Better RED than DEAD!
Better still RDD!

That's true, the Deluxe's bot mode is really spectacular. The alt mode almost completely makes up for its robot mode's good looks, though.

I can't bring myself to grab him because his alt mode doesn't really look like any truck from any of the fictions I'm familiar with. Is this particular prime dorectly based off of anything?

While the truck mode doesn't look all that appealing when you first get it. Bot mode ... WHOA! I picked up a 2nd voyager prime to open up, and BOY did he surprise me.
The truck, meh ... not the greatest alt mode. The quality of the plastic and rigid feel of the toy are great. Very poseable as well.
You will not be disappointed!

Yeah it's the Voyager. I like the Deluxe Ultimate Battle set, however... Prime is not a Deluxe. Ever. Ever ever ever. Ever.
Though I do like both the Deluxe Prime and the Deluxe Megatron, and have played with them as I know someone who has it... I wouldn't get it for myself because I believe those characters are better suited as Voyagers at least. (though I will be getting Animated Deluxe Prime... XD)

got any pictures? i'd love to see Classics Megnus with armour. do you build extras to sell?

Here's the link to the WIP thread over at Transtopia: http://www.tfmaster.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6872
and hers is the link to the "Who's Got Kitbashed Classics" thread. It's there too: http://www.seibertron.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12545&sid=
As for do I build extras for sale? Sorry, no. It's one of a kind, and I can't afford to try and build another. The materials alone cost over $200 US and a great deal of man-hours.
