What are Devilman's abilities?

Devilman is the kind of fighter who even with an arm torn off keeps on fighting with a smile. He is super strong. Probably physicaly much stronger than Dante. He can fly. He can stay in demon form as long as he wishes to. He has antenas to nullify his opponent's powers. He can regenerate. He can assimilate other demon's powers and body parts. He can aslo create a forcefield around himself. He has the ability to teleport instantly. He can create fire.

This version of the character is a pure hearted boy who chose to posses (or be possesed) by a demon. And luckily he got the strongest of the lot: The devil Amon.

Personally I would give the win to Devilman but Dante can still defend himself as long as he can remain in Devil from

dante cos hes a a brilliant warrior.

Maybe a tie.

And Devilman isn't?

Dante is also one of the handsomest characters ever as is Vergil.

Not that looks matter.

i looked at devilman on Youtube. hes kinda superhero meets demon.

i dont like the trunks look on a guy.

Apart from looks Dante has lots of weapons.And has Infinete Devil trigger. So that negates the devilman can stay as demon for as long as he wants theory.

if you read Amon: the darkside of Devilman you now Devilman's power: he's 10000 stronger than any human, he can fly, regenerate, create force field, create fire (with the linked technique), great phico-power, use the ability fusion of the demon to defeat the enemy, teleport, read in the mind, lightning from the antennes, high speed movements...

he can also incenerate a city with fire...

he has a lot of powers that Dante hasn't.

And Amon has the same force of God!!! he's stronge as Satan... Stronger than Sparda...

At last Dante when turn in demon mode, became only faster, can fly and regenerate medium damage, and he always fight with sword or gun... but he's fisical force is inferior tahan devilman's one, and he hasn't Devilman Abilities.

So he can't win angaist Devilman, sorry

You know...Dante can't actually die, right? He's been hit with everything in the book, and he shrugs it off like it was nothing.

Yeah, Devilman may shrug off getting his arm cut off...Dante's arm doesn't even cut, anyway you cut him, he doesn't come apart.

You fail to remember that Danta is half human. And unless I'm mistaken, his father died. Why would he be immortal? There are chances he might be eternal but not immortal.

1. Those stabs didn't even touch the heart.
2. He had all his time to recover after being hit. Devilman would rush on him and pummel Dante to death after landing a hit like that.
3. Devilman wouldn't have bothered doging fire from a conventional weapon. (Not that he can't He dodged faster (and less obvious) things than a rocket before)

And he survives it and the some.

... That's the stomach. He might need a gravol at worst. And then again he was KO for quite a while. Devilman world rip him appart during that time.

In the same situation Devilman would grab the hand of his opponent and push the blade further and get it out the other way laughing.

I'd post youtube links too but every fight in devilman is just so much over PG-13... Do I show a vid with devilman holding his girlfriend severed head or another with Devilman ripping apart a half-woman half bird demon apart? Even just reading about it might be too much for many people.

I doubt that. Dante has shown that his healing is pretty much instantaneous.

Actually, I saw Cloud from Final Fantasy 7 do the same thing without thinking about it, though he didn't go all th way through. It freaked Sephiroth out, which is weird, because Sephiroth is not an easy person to freak out.

When me and Tweezy see someone push the blade further in, we call that "Pulling a Dante."

While we're on the subject, what the hell kind of Superhero is this? Sounds like The Punisher with The Joker's sense of humor and Superman's powers.

nothing touches Dante ever.

But i am going to try and watch some of Devilman because it looks intersting.

Dante can die as evry charachter... If you notice, he's ever hit in an arm, always he is hitten in the chest, by a sword ecc...

Devilman can be by an atomic bomb and survive.. look at the manga...

and when Silene cut his arm is at the biginning of the manga, akira hasn't descover all his powers.

At last Amon can bet Xenon that has more powers than mundus or argosax... He can destroy the dimensions and survive to a 1000 atomic bombs explosions.

And Amon is stronger than him... I can survive also in the space.
And also destroy the inteire planet if he want or the universe..

At last, Devilman can resist to bullets, look at Devilman: time travellers...

He tackles Satan, that is the strongest creature that God have created.
And also Amon/devilman, is very fast, in the manga he flights from Japan to China in few seconds.

And Devilman and Amon can hit and kill Enemy just with a look, so Devilman can kill Dante also without touch him; he just liquefies him with his psichic power wirhout kill him... look at the manga Amon...
Ah and also he can incenerate a city produncing fire from every pore of his body...so he can resist to fire,too:-)

Game characters are immortal. Handsome people win. (There is a statistical correlation between looks and overall physical fitness.)
