The only part you would need to "metal work" is the rod that connects to the base. And thats rather easy, get a metal rod, and put the rod on a laithe and just turn down both ends so you have the right size pegs to fit in the holes. And voila you have a good unicron stand simply from adding your own part to the unicron.com kit. Thats what I did and it stands it perfectly, without any worries of the plastic flexing or the toy falling.Bonecrusher27 wrote:Thanks guys! Appreciate the responses.
