DOTM Utra sized optimus is a awesome toy by itself & just throw the ultimate trailer/armor in the thrash.

I've got the ultra sized 8 inch robot mode/truck cab optimus primw toy on display. I gave the brick-former trailer away to a younger relative.

You guys seriously need to add this DOTM Ultra sized optimus prime toy in robot mode on your display shelf. It looks awesome without the trailer/armor attached to the ultra sized robot.

Personally this DOTM Ultra sized 8 inch optimus prime toy. is the best looking,most movie detailed,superior engineered out of all the voyager sized movie verse optimus prime toys.

IMHO,The 2007 movie optimus prime toy is just weird & odd. the ROTF or HFTD Voyager optimus at the very least tries to look movie accurate but fails because the toy is way too skinny & puny looking. the DOTM voyager sized optimus prime toy is a good toy,it's just not very movie accurate in robot mode.

I suspose the main question is. is the DOTM Ultra sized truck cab/bot worth $60 by itself. if you hate the trailer/armor un-poseable brick & have no plans to use it nor combine it with the ultra size truck/cab optimus robot in neither mode? I guess is if TF fans can spend $60 to $80 for 3rd party voyager sized or ultra sized figures,then why not.

I love the armor myself. It looks imposing and awesome. The main Optimus figure is not that good one of the poorest designs of movie Optimus Primes. It needs that armor.

I actually am rather fond of the OP by itself. It's misproportioned, back heavy, and lacks some articulation, but it is very imposing and has one of the better managed backpacks of the OPs-only because I hate it when backpacks have a hump on the lower half.

Also, it is in scale with the DOTM Ironhide and Battle Blade Bumblebee.

He ain't bad by himself, but I like the armor too.

He does need the armor i dont like any dotm voyager OP the only reason i got the ultimate was to have a trailer and he has been in truck mode since i got him hes a nice display piece some people freak out over the truck or the trailer been too big/small but i dont care

The fact is you dont buy ultimate prime just for the voyager figure you either like the full robot or the truck and trailer.

Yeah, have to say I prefer the armor.

If it wern't for the lazyness of the arms I'd agree with you, but it's like they just didn't care to finish it. (like....lets just make his arms the entire front end of the truck and they'll buy it) Could have put a little effort into it for the price they were offering.

I enjoy mine...but with the armor or in truck and trailer mode.

That's more insane than buying a Transformer and not even transforming it.

Looks like crap compared to the Leader version from ROTF, which you can still get for $20. Even the DOTM Voyager version is better-looking. And you're saying it's worth $50?

so were supposed to pay anywhere from 45 to 65 dollars for a ultra class figure and a chunky innacurate one at that? thanks but no thanks.
