He's not high on the list of figs I want, even though he looks cool. However unless it's a homage to a figure, I have less interest.
IMO 3rd party companies do best when making figures that collectors will recognize and want, but wouldn't work on the main market due to whatever reasons.

At first when I saw the heartmaster pics,I got all excited & wanted to buy the figure ASAP. Then once the excitement wore off,I got less interested in the figure as the days passed. I really like the war within grimlock alt mode the toy seemed to have. I was trying to figure out the heart gimmick. I guessed it wasd either a powermaster or brainmaster homage. Either way I probably won't bother pre-ordering this figure. I prefer to just buy homage TF 3rd party TF toys.
As far as the 3rd party stunticons goes. this can go either way. I'll buy them if the toy size scale is what I prefer. call me SELFISH but I kinda want these 3rd party stunticons to be compatitable with the Energon 5-in-1 combiners. I'd like the same basic sized limbs, deluxe core leader & exact Energon 5-in-1 style combiner connector ports.
I suspose because the toy line & show had two different size scales. I wouldn't mind deluxe limbs & voyager core leader to be cartoon accurate. or basic sized limbs & deluxe core leader to be toy accurate. although like I said above i prefer them to be in Eenergon 5-in 1 combiners scale with exact combiner connector ports. PLUS I Imagine the smaller homage 1985 toy size scale would be cheaper in price than the much larger 1985 cartoon size scale.
