Each film has a best part.Even if you're a hater of the prequels or a fan,you have to admit,the movies all had awesome parts.

Here's my list:

The Phantom Menace - Darth Maul vs Qui-Gon Jinn and Obiwan Kenobi and the Pod Race

Attack of the Clones - The space chase between Obiwan and Jango Fett above Genosis

Revenge of the Sith- The opening battle over Coruscant and the lightsaber fight between Obiwan and Darth Vader

A New Hope- The Cantina scene on Tatooine and the Dogfight over the Death Star

The Empire Strikes Back- The Hoth Battle,Yoda,the asteroid field,the lightsaber fight...oh,just everything!!

Return of the Jedi- The entire Tatooine sequence and the Death Star battle in space.


As you can tell,Empire is my favorite. My list of Star Wars films from best to worst are:

1. The Empire Strikes Back
2. Revenge of the Sith
3.Return of the Jedi
4.The Phantom Menace
5.A New Hope
6.Attack of the Clones

I'm Between the final battle on VI or Anakin vs Obi-Wan on III,that fight scne never gets boring.

Agreed. The fight in III was epic.

Basically, every scene with creatures in it. What can I say, I like my movie monsters.

Ep I - "there's always a bigger fish"
Ep II - the arena battle
Ep III - any part with General Grievous
Ep IV - trash compactor
Ep V - the asteroid belt (the score for that one is possibly my favorite) and inside the space slug
Ep VI - Jabba's Palace


As for favorite film... either Empire or Jedi.

I'll play this game, even if I do find the prequels incredibly hard due to how terrible I find them.

Episode One - Darth Maul vs Qui Gon/Obi-Wan duel (even if I do think it could have been done even better).

Episode Two - Arena battle between the Jedi and droids. This is despite what I believed to be an underselling of the various Jedi's skill in combat.

Episode Three - Implementation of Order 66.

Episode Four - Assault on the Death Star. I still get the urge to punch the air when Han comes back to save the day. **** Luke.

Episode Five - The Bespin scenes are incredible. The bloody bad guys have won!?

Episode Six - The final Emperor scenes are brilliant for dialogue delivery. "So be it, Jedi." Anakin's redemption comes a close second.


That was fun.

Episode I - Toss up between the Pod race and the duel (damned cheating, double-teaming Jedi!!!!)

Episode II - Yoda vs. Dooku -Even as ridiculous as it was, after decades of wondering, we finally got to see Yoda's skill a warrior.

Episode III - Obi Wan vs. Vader - Again,like Yoda in Ep. II, we finally got to see why Vader became "More machine than man" in one hell of a battle!

Episode IV - The Death Star Battle - I loved this as a kid in the theater. I had never seen anything quit like it on film. still a favorite.

Episode V - Finding out the truth about Luke's father - it hit me like a hammer as a child.

Episode VI - The speeder bike chase. Again, nothing like it had been seen up to that point. The second Death Star Battle was serious eye candy, too.

Episode VII - (So far...) J.J. Abrams!!!!


My favorite movie (So Far...) Episode V - Still reeling from the implications of the Big Bad being the father of the Noble Hero, mere minutes later the credits rolled...and the Bad Guys...WON. At 10 years old, I realized that sometimes, no matter how hard you try, no matter how noble your intent, you will fail. It was the first time I had experienced this truth. It still resonates to this day.
