Buy it, it's worth it. Decent articulation, a nice transformtation, hidden compartments, and the Storm trooper helmet is the closest thing (besides Darth Vader) to a TF style head you are gonna get. It's the only SWTF that I have bought, and the only one I plan on buying. My kids like it too, it's a cool vehicle, although I really can't tell which end is supposed to be the front.

Of course, we're all conveniently forgetting that many real TF faces have also been depicted for decades as silver human faces with glowing blue eyes.

Wholeheartedly agree. The Commander Cody tank is one of the few in this line that really is worth it. Since the robot mode is designed from a clone/storm trooper, it looks more convincing and a whole lot better than the mutated heads of other SWTF figures. Also, the robot mode is well proportioned, so it doesn't suffer from the flimsy leg joints that others in this line seem to.

Oh, by the way, the front of the vehicle would be the the end with the compartment you can put the small figure of the driver into.

See thats the only reason why I want it.

It's spoken so highly of that I gotta see what they hype is about.

That was a joke by the way . My 3 year old drives it one way, and my 1.5 year old the other. I personally think that the "back" looks better as the front than the front does.

These things are sad. I was turned off ever since i bought my first and only one and it fell apart in my hands lol .. Star Wars will keep making these sad thing too i think because they just keep releasing the same things over and over and over .. I think its time to retire everything starwars lol free up some shelf space for better toys like Transformers

Which one? Some (like TIE Darth Vader and Obi-Wan) are sturdier than the others (Grievous, ARC Fighter Clone, Luke)

It was Grievous. there vehicle modes are ok but the bot modes i think are so bad.. The store near me are loaded with these things still , just collecting dust.. I would buy the death star just to rip off th ehead and cape and do a kitbash with it .. As far as the rest of the line , should be melted down for scrap i think lol

Ok so I bought this figure today, he's nice and all, but sorry, either I'm missing something or I don't see they hype.

Also, I realy don't know much about Star Wars, so is this a good or bad guy?

Darth Vader is like the uber bad guy of cinema history. He's the main character of all six movies and basically goes from a little innocent kid named Anakin Skywalker to an ambitious power hungry Jedi (sort of warrior monk with supernatural powers) then feels betrayed by everything and becomes the apprentice of an evil dictator Sith (mortal enemies of the Jedi)

That ball he transforms into is the Death Star, a huge spherical space station with a planet-destroying laser weapon.

Oops, sorry, my bad.

Clone Commander Cody is serving Obi-Wan Kenobi in Episode III. He's commander of a whole legion of orange deco-ed Clones and their mission is to take out General Grievous, who is a bad guy serving in the droid army. (the same army from Episode I and II which is controlled by Darth Sidious)

Cody has been pals with Obi-Wan for a long time, which is elaborated in the cartoon series taking place between epII and III. Chancellor Palpatine (the future Emperor) is ruler of the Galactic Republic and actually the same guy as the evil Darth Sidious. He declares a special Order (Order 66) stating that every Jedi should be killed. Thus, Cody turns against Obi-Wan, who falls seemingly to his death but escapes the planet to search for other Jedi survivors. That's pretty much all we see of Cody.

So this thing (like most things named Cody) is bad but not in a evil way?

I think I'll make him a member of my movie lens head drone battalion then.
