It looks more like a part then like a TF to me.

While I have no idea what that is, the seller also has a Rodimus Prime, and a Motormaster that look to be in good shape.

And a mistransformed Astrotrain, that doesn't seem to be in as good a shape as the others.

Weapon: Twin Independent Mounted Disruptor Rays
If that is an 80's "vintage" US release TF then I have seaside property in Oklahoma for sell as well. Maybe its a UK 80's original non-US released piece. That happened some later in the run but I doubt at all that what he has there is a TF at all. Robotic perhaps but not TF.

Great, now I'm intrested. Hmm, I don't think I'll be able to solve it, but I do agree, it's a part off of some figure. Is that a rub symbol in the middle? It's also got chrome, which may put it in the Transmetal Beast Wars range. Thing is, none of them seem to fit the bill, with the possible exception of Optimal Optimus(don't have him, does he have a rub symbol?).

I really don't know.

Not any Transformer I know of :-? It could possibly be a micromaster base or something in the Micromaster line.

No, it's not a rub symbol. It's a whole with the black cloth showing through.

Honestly, I can't think of what this is at the moment, but I had a toy from the same line but it wasn't this model and it was red. It did have little figures with them but I'm pretty sure it wasn't Microman related. I believe this toy line came out in the mid to possibly late 80's. I don't think it was a Hasbro product. I'll do a little research and see if I can remember what it was.

Well its a moot point now. Item ended with ZERO bids. If he wants to sell it he needs to verify what it is he has. Its not a vintage TF 80's piece.
