Not sad at all...I am seeing the movie tomorrow.

I just know this show will suck, and therefore, I can focus on BTs, MPs, and some G1 re-issues instead.

I won't bitch about it, I will just vote with my remote and my pocketbook.

So again, who is supposed to be sad now?

If they are anything like Robot Heroes, aka NON-TRANSFORMING TRANSFORMERS, I don't care how awesome everyone thinks they are.

No dice.

As far as I am concerned, if it does not transform, it is not a Transformer.

Good point, I wouldn't put it past Hasbro to try a new set of "Action Masters" with this new show. :P

They are supposed to resemble their animated counterparts, whcih are so mishapen and OVERLY humanoid as to NOT lend well to transformation.

It is just an educated guess, I am not on Hasbro's payroll.

Trust me, there will not be any G1 Scorponoks (Awesome figures) out of this line.

If you like them, good for you, and good for Hasbro.

But there is a reason I only have 42 Transformers, and it is NOT money.

Again, I'll pass...they will look like crap if they are based off of the new series.

The toys tranform...we were shown pics of both modes at Botcon, but unfortunately we could not take pictures to share with everyone.

I can't say anything about the style, its personal as to whether you like it or not, because IT is quite different from anything we have seen with transformers before. To me that does not mean bad, it means different. I did see it in action for about a minute and a half... It looked cool in motion. And BTW they do have weapons. Prime has this big axe that apparently can transform to help him in other ways than just being an axe. Megatron has a sword. Prowl is a ninja like warrior with similar weapons, Lugnut has missiles on his hands, Blitzwing's tank mode does have a cannon...etc., etc.

Supposedly, this is going to be similarly written to BW once it got rolling. Some bits of comedy, stand alone eps for the most part, that lead to an overall story plot.

Of course it is going to be written focused for children overall, like BW, but my hope that like BW, it can be enjoyed by adults and fans, as well as, children.

I take no side yet, because I have not seen a full ep. I have seen concept drawings, the sizzle (animated action sequence--not flash animation BTW- fluid completely rendered and voiced), and concepts and models for toys. It has promise. We have a long time to think about it before it airs... Six months or so...

I guess now that the movie is out, we need something else to stew and debate about, don't we? I guess this is it.

I suppose you could say yes, he has a larger heroic chin, and the articulation is supposed to be superb. They are supposed to be able to hold poses that reflect their character in the show.

What hope? None of the real Transformers enthusiast have a problem with any of the new material.

Stop crying, about absolutely nothing. This might rank along with beast Wars, as one of the best series to date.

You're not even giving it a chance. We haven't even seen a damn video of that **** yet. Just some images of some cool designs.

Ugh. Makin' sick to my goddamn stomach.

Real Transformers enthusiasts? REAL?

Excuse me? Who are you to determine if my enthusiasm for a genre or series of sci-fi is genuine enough, exactly?

Please, Almighty Man Behind The Curtain, enlighten me.

BTW-I hated Beast Wars.

It's self explanatory really, my dear Watson.

Beast Wars is arguably the best Transformers series, to date, and you didn't like it? I'm guessing because they weren't automotive vehicles, and were animals, instead, eh?

You didn't even address anything I said. But, I'm a call your bluff. Tell me, what show had better writing? A better plot? Better visual art? Better pacing? More memorable characters?

Yeah g1 had to many characters and the animatrion was very simple. But if people liked it so much why did it get CANCELED LOL TAKE THAT G1 FAN CANCELED. Well i liked beast wars becuase they were animals and had a smaller character list. There were about what 7 on each side at the end of the serries. Still beastwars was the best transformers ever in my opinion. I like how this new serries is coming from with alot of beastwars influnce. Still i will like this serries and i tell every one else to give it a chance. Also dont complain the animation is to simple G1 was more simple that that. Also the fact the tvs back then made it look worse. have a nice day

Sorry to pick on ya, just interesting person.
Not liking BW because of the plot device, in this case the skin, which was needed at the time because Vehicle-Robot was tired and old, is a weak reasoning, as is "NOT G1!!!" and the "Beast Machines ruined it" You are entitled to dislike it, but, disliking it simply on the premise of the alt mode when the story beats the crap out of everything else Transformers, is kinda weak and silly.

I never said G1 had any better writing, etc. Again you assume.

I just said I hated BW.

Now put your manners back in or I will get a modernator involved.

Your arrogance is astounding.

Who are you to determine who is a "real" fan?

How about the kid that could not afford TFs as a kid? He has a collection of 0? Is he not a fan?

What about someone who read the comics, liked them, but did not care for anything else? I he still a fan in your Almighty eyes?

Who are to to decide who is a fan if they do not like a particular series, such as Beast Wars?

You know nothing son. I have been following Transformers for the better part of a quarter century. I was there when it started, back when I still drooled and wore diapers. I knew nothing at the time but that I liked them.

Again, put your manners back in or I will get ugly.
