The TF's would win many battles but eventually not the war. The borg fleet is just too darn large and with their adepting abilities they would eventually come out of top.

The borg get beat because of a computer virus...or a lose of the queen and the borg are dead. It's sad that no matter how large the borg fleet is once the queen is gone it's scrap metal.

Also the borg fleet is how large? Well when they can only send one ship at a time to take on the Federation it can't be that big. Either that or the borg are stupid.

And the borg can't adapt to many different things, like knives, bullets, the butt of a gun, planetary explosions, or fists. They can adapt to phasers, photon torpedoes, or a deflector. Well the transformers can shell out everything the borg can't addapt to and they don't use anything the borg can adapt to. The borg have limits of what they can adapt to and apparently it’s limits are physical contact and high power outputs.

The borg are going down hard.

And don't forget everyone's favourite self-replicating robo-pests, the Insecticons. Borg drones would probably become quite the delicacy amongst them.

I believe that the Transformers are much more advanced than the Borg, so they should be able to hijack Borg systems. However, the Borg collective is incredibly big and incorporates thousands of intelligent species. They might have some method to resist Transformer takeover, at least for a while. The Transformers would need to build a vast army of living and non-living warriors to defeat the Borg militarily. The Borg would be unable to assimilate Transformers since TF immune systems are too strong.

If the Transformers are advanced enough to free large numbers of Borg drones from the collective, those freed people might be able to turn against the collective. That would swing the battle against the remaining Borg. However, the Queen is quite happy to make any corrupted cubes self-destruct. Either way, the collective is reduced.
