Same here! The motorcycles ones are like moving targets. I've gotten all up until then, too, but I just can't hit them. I think I hit one or two of the "moving" ones, but I can never tell since I race away before I can hear them ribbit.

Started the game. got sent back in time to the caveman era and decided to help the natives by destroying a man-eating monster named Yum-yum. By doing so, I rescued the children of the natives and also found a magic block (which looks eerily like a tetris piece). With no other place to go, reactivated the time travel spell and got sent forward to Egypt. My current quest, to go track down a pizza delivery man for the queen.

I'm stuck at the Sherlock Holmes timeframe. I can't beat the floating brain thing in the water.

I think the biggest annoyance is the moment you realize that you can walk off the edge of a temporary platform. I was so used to just being able to walk up to an edge and not fall off that it caught me off guard.
BTW, managed to clear the brain thingy on the 2nd try. Not to difficult. You just can't rush the battle though. one hit on each platform and you'll take him down in 3 rounds.

Thing is, the platforms only spawn once, don't they? I mean, I can only do 1 lap. After that, they stop spawning and I drown.

You have to take a circular path. They only spawn in one direction but the one below the brain is close enough to dry land that you can hop off, head back to the top platform and continue. The first one is the one that respawns.

lol, tetrads.
I find it funny that they used Sherlock Holmes, who's a character and not a historical figure... I guess meeting an important historical figure from that time wouldn't have been as cool, but stiil.

I didn't, actually. In fact, I think that's the only main MGS game I didn't play twice. (The same could be said of Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, but that's not a main MGS game, despite being canon)

Hardest thing I think I've ever had to do was get those frogs. I even managed to get all the dog tags in MGS2, but not these frogs. Try it out, Shadowman. You'll find the first thirty or so easy, and then after a few motorcycle scenes, you'll want to throw your system out the window.
