Okay, I joined the Club months ago almost solely to order Nightbeat (I have since also gotten the 4 combiner bots so it's wasn't a loss) so I'm feeling kind of burned by the Seacons shipping first. When I took part in their little poll a few months ago about waiting to ship them together, it stated that Nightbeat was ready to roll then, so what's the hold up? Some of us couldn't give a rats ass about the Fruit Rollup colored Seacons. Every time I ask when Nightbeat will ship, I'm ignored. The Club seems to be avoiding the question. The figure was given away as doorprizes at a European Botcon-isk event in the spring.

What are they waiting for?

EDIT: I just got this email today (Oct 7):

Hello Zod Convoy!

This is going out to everyone in the club. If you ordered the Seacons or Nightbeat, your order will be there shortly! We have about a thousand orders to get out and we plan to have all of the pre-orders shipped by the middle of next week.

Please do not call or email concerning when your's will be shipped as we don't have the staff to look this up as it is all in the shipping department.

If you chose Federal Express, you should get an email (if it is delivered) when your item ships. If by Post Office, you will not get an email.

Again, the less calls we have to take, the faster they all get shipped. When they are all shipped, what is left will be in regular inventory in the store. As of TODAY, there are about 60% of the Nightbeats sold and 80% of the Seacons sold.

Thanks for your great response to these club exclusives. We hope that everyone who wants these figures will get their order in before they sell out.

The first reason was the the seacons were ready for shipping a lot faster than Nightbeat, and I'm guessing they're far more popular. Perhaps they're shipping out all the single orders of seacons first and in the process of receiving the Nightbeat figures so that when they finish shipping all the seacon orders, they'll be ready to process all the Nightbeat and seacon/nightbeat orders.

That's just a guess though as I'm not a club member.

They waited 4 years for their seacons, Nightbeat fans have only had to wait under a year.

i just finally ordered nightbeat (can't afford the seacons right now)from the club store and it says in my confirmation email "all items are scheduled to ship immediately" could it be true or an error?

Back on May 23, the Club had a poll to ship Nightbeat then or wait "4-6 weeks" for the Seacons to arrive. Nightbeat was even given away as a door prize at the B.O.T.S. convention on June 8th. I just find it frustrating that it's been ready to ship for months and they've been sitting on it.

And I really have nothing against the Seacons. I still have 3 of the 5 I had as a kid and a set of King Neptune. If anything I'm disappointed in the colors they chose and that's why I'm not ordering him. I'm glad they're finally out for those that want them. I just wish it wasn't at the expense of those that don't.

Speaking as someone who doesn't give a toss about Nightbeat or the Seacons, I find it utterly bizarre that they've had Nightbeat ready to ship but haven't because some people wanted to receive both at once. So the people who aren't buying the Seacons don't matter? Nice.

That's why I don't care about it. I'd love a decent update of Nightbeat. A repaint of Energon Hotshot ain't it.

Yeah, I have to agree, it seems quite odd that they have not shipped Nightbeat only orders yet.

I ordered both and have not received anything, either way.

I understand your frustration though. Try e-mailing the club, or using the thread here to ask Pete.

Actually I did ask in that thread, I'm like the 7th post down right before Counterpunch's second post. Mine was the only question not answered. Rather frustrating.
