Help me decide what to get
There are two primes I've been itching to add to my collection for a while now. THS-02 and RID Prime. I can only afford one. Which one should I get?(Omega Prime considered of course)

Wow, thats two totally different Primes. I had THS 02 Prime, I liked him alot. Wish I kept him but got 20th Prime instead.
I've never seen RID in person so I can only give a biased opinion. THS 02 is very articulate and is just an overall awesome toy.

Depends on what version(s) of Prime you already own. The THS 02 is essentially a tiny Masterpiece based on his G1 looks. RID Prime is a new original take on the character, with a recognizable but distinct robot mode, unique alt mode and nifty super mode.
I would go for RID, but that's because I have no real need for another G1 Prime.

My friend had an RID fire engine prime and I have to say that it is very impressive! he design, the way the ladder is positioned, he just kept it on a shelf by itself and the pose and everything just made it look great. I started to collect TF's only after I saw his RID Prime and I thought wow I wish I had one...
then for me came the alternators... then the masterpieces and then I found a new appreciation for G1. its like that RID prime started the collecting side of TF's for me, before then they were just a happy childhood memory

THS, and MP Prime, whilst basically being base on exactly the same charecter, are actuly VERY different (its not just the obvious diference in size).
RiD Prime is almost as tall a MP Prime in supermode (and possibly taller in Omega prime mode), but will without a shaddow of a doubt be cheaper than THS-02.
Which is more fun? Well, I just dont know.
I suspect in the end of the day, the availability will be the deciding factor, EVERYBODY wanted THS-02 when he came out, and I dont think many people will have wanted to sell him since. RiD prime has had a repaint in Universe or Sams club or something, plus a slightly lower quality version (poorer paint, cheaper plastic) in a 2 pack with Magnus as a store special during cybertron, so he should be relativly easy and cheap to find.
See, I told you he was cheap ($15.50 with onlny 17 mins to go)

Thanks guys. I always liked THS-02's articulation but G1 Prime just looks too bland to me. I like my Primes to be armored and armed, so super-mode Primes appeal to me. But then Cybertron Prime always jumps into the mix. That figure appeals to me because of the awesome super-mode and matrix-chamber but the standard Robot-mode isn't different enough from the super mode for my tastes. Still, it is close competition between the two for me.
Which Prime is more awesome, RID or Cybertron? (combinations with other figures considered) And does THS-02 look as bland as I think it does?
