Agreed, Ironhide could have been better, but this mold isn't that bad. I would just pick up a Hasbro IH from WM for eight bucks, paint the face silver, modify him so the head comes all the way up, and call it good. That's what I did.

i did the same thing. i think the biggest reason IH is a disappointment for me is because his bot mode is really pretty cool, but his alt mode is a POS. from the pics i've seen, Ratchet and his color scheme might work a little better with this mold. Ironhide's color scheme looks like crap on it.

The plate that his head is on doesn't rotate all the way up and sit flush with the top of his chest, so he is always looking a little downwards.
Mine is currently on display above my eye level, so it isn't a big issue for me, but I'll make the modification so he can look straight ahead sometime soon.
